SoleSteeler (HU) at 7 o'clock vs. Manit0u (UD) at 4 o'clock on Gnoll Wood I scouted in a clock wise fashion I scouted his position second last, when I found him I immediately attacked with a level 2.5 AM, 8 or so footmen. He had DK/ghouls and we had a nice little skirmish, I only lost 1 footmen I believe (but like 8 injured that I sent home) and I killed 3-4 ghouls. I went back to my main and trained a MK, started making riflemen and an arcane sanctum. I healed up and crept the natural expo in the mid-top-leftish area and expo'd, also teched to castle somewhere around now... I creeped a few more spots and power leveled (didn't xp with my AM) my MK at the middle, merc camps etc. I think we skirmished a bit again. I added a bloodmage, and proceeded to attack with a rather large rifle/caster force (70ish food). He had some ghouls/aboms/statues/lich/DK. Nice micro from him, but my expo really gave me an advantage... Too bad he didn't scout it  SoleSteeler 1-0 Manit0u Game 2: SoleSteeler (HU) at bottom right vs. Manit0u (HU) at top left on Twisted Meadows. Usual build for me, our scouting peasants waved hello to each other at the top right position and I think we both concluded that we were in a cross map situation. I had barely crept my first small camp when he came roaring in with a couple footmen/AM/WE. I had just begun creeping the 3 gnoll camp but luckily saw him and was able to turn a creep jack into a pincer attack of him between me and the creeps... A couple of his guys got purged so I was able to pick them off, he ran back to his main while I finished creeping the spot. I then healed up a bit, trained a bloodmage and then militia expanded to my natural expo. (just north right of my position). Solo crept with BM to level him faster. I started my plan to go 3 arcane mass breakers with AoE, I crept the shop, forgot to buy a tome of retraining, started creeping the 3 gnolls just north of that (with just BM, this is the north east shop BTW). My heroes split, he came into the shop area and started hammering away with a MK/AM and a lot of footies. He managed to kill my BM and a lot of my own footmen with book of the dead before i TP'd out. He did a little bit of harrassing with his book of the dead while I continued to throw up 3 arcane sanctums and upgrading breaker armour... I crept the merc camp and then went to check if he had expo'd to the north west natural expo... He hadn't. By this time I had a LOT of breakers coming out (was sitting at no upkeep with expo for 5 mins so...) and so I attacked him. Dropping blizz/flamestrikes with mass breakers, all footmen were completely roasted within seconds (including my own). My superior upgrades helped a lot vs his own breakers, I killed his MK before he ran out. I followed him into his base and we duked it out some more, he ran his army around trying to stall for time so I dual nuked his own sanctums and destroyed them. He was soon overrun easily from my 3 producing buildings vs his none... SoleSteeler 2-0 Manit0u: SoleSteeler (HU) at top right vs. Manti0u (UD) at top left on Echo Isles. Early in the game he came right for me and harrassed my peasants with coil/wand of necro, I did some poor creeping (I was being distracted by a cute girl who came into my room, no, seriously!) I had one footmen in red from creeping the 3 little troll trappers, which mani easily picked off. He killed 3 or so militia and then ran out without losing anything but a few skeletons. We both creeped a few more spots, I added rifles and a panda for haze when I saw him going mainly fiends. I creep jacked him at the mid left fountain of health, but we suffered no losses. I then creeped bottom left expo and bottom right expo, and then we had another fight. My hero was trapped and died. I almost killed his lich but he a timely coil saved him. I creeped the one or two spots that was left while throwing up an expo, reviving panda and adding more rifles/casters. I went to check bottom left for an expo, nothing. I went to harrass his main just as he came down to my building expo at btm right. Had to cancel it and lost 3 peasants ;(. I think I forced him to tp somewhere around here, and went to check the bottom left again, still nothing. I began throwing up my expo again just as he waltzed into my main... I tp'd, fought him again, lost my hero I'm guessing. Might of killed one of his before chasing him out... Again, I check btm left... as he checks btm right, I think he was building an expo now, which I killed, he also killed my btm right. this time I said to myself I'm gonna use 5 peasants to build my expo so I get it up ASAP, and I did. We fought some more, chased each other around the map. As I was killing his 2nd attempt at an expo he went down to mine and tried killing it, but I tp'd right ontop of his army and managed to do a lot of damage, panda died again though. At this time he's got a lot of fiends/aboms/statues. I was SO CLOSE to killing his DK, but couldn't do it... And I had a peasant at the tavern trying to tavern revive panda, but it didn't work (lag?). Wanted to intercept DK. At this time I had a lot of money rolling in, since I had at least had an expo running at certain times while he never had, so my gold mine ran out so I knew his must of, so I expo'd bottom right (had to kill his 3rd or 4th attempt at one again though first). Somehow I killed his DK, i didn't even realize it... But I pressed his main, BoFing his workers that tried to repair altar etc. I had a couple mortars because he had towers. My 80/80 army slowly but surely took out the remainder of his force, and base. GG SoleSteeler 3-0 Manit0u NOTE: Games might not of been exactly as I remembered them | ||
