I have to do Americups every Monday and Tuesday night, both CAL 1v1 and 2v2 some night of the week, and then whatever school stuff I have to do. My schedule is kinda fucked up at the moment, but I'm gonna take a look tonight and see if I can get a good idea of when I have free time.

uidf Seychelles370 Posts April 04 2005 05:34 GMT #305 yea im gonna be hosting another tour about 2 weeks after this one is done(1 week break from games then a week for the sign up process) i had a request from someone to give a 2 week break in between tournaments i guess for practice and such before the next one. if i get enough request for it to be moved up to only one week after finals(for registration) then ill make it one week. i also havent decided on groups or a bracket yet either so any input on which you think would be best/which you like best just let me know.

Orlandu China2450 Posts April 04 2005 07:40 GMT #306 I think groups are better, because even the people that aren't very good get to play a decent amount of games, and it's much easier to seed brackets once a group stage has been completed.

As far as my games with Aether go, neither of us have made an effort to get the games played as of yet. I'm not sure what his reasoning is, but here is mine: A LOT of stuff has happened in my life recently, and a few days ago a lot of chaotic things happened. It more or less brought a bitter end to certain aspects of my life, and it had a big impact on me. I felt depressed to the point where I didn't eat anything at all in 48 hours. I was a mess, and became very unhealthy. But, I know what I need to do to get my life back in order. As part of doing so, I decided to take a break from gaming and other things in my life in order to find what was truly important to me and what I really wanted to do. More or less, I'm re-evaluating my life and making some changes. Although gaming always has and will be an important part of my life, and I have full intentions to return to it, at the moment I felt it was necessary to take a break. However, I have a prior commitment with GGL for the AmeriCups that I do NOT intend to back out on, so I will still give my all for them. But aside from that, I can't guarantee anything else, or when I'll be returning to gaming. I'd like to still play in this next tournament, and finish up the first, but I really don't know when I'll be ready to come back. It could be in a few days, or a month from now. I'm just not really sure at the moment, I'm still sorting things out. I'm sorry for any confusion or problems this may cause, but it was truly out of my hands and is a far more serious issue than any other aspect in my life right now. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but if you would like to postpone the match between me and Aether to a later time, I'll gladly play. I just know at the moment, I don't have the desire to.

Hopefully we can play sometime soon, but take care of your stuff like you need to, you have lots of bench-sitting moral support over here.
