Feels like the Japanese teams prepped for Rufus but not Viper
It's supposed to be automatic but actually you have to press this button.

Overall, second in team tourney, 1st and 2nd Mahvel, and 3rd SSF4AE singles isn't bad all all with that kind of competition. Very well done.

OCVing Japan 1 and almost resetting the bracket against Japan Elive. Very very well done.

Anyone catch what UltraDavid and James Chen were whispering to each other during the awards? I heard UD saying something like "This could have been the greatest stream ever, but it's such a shame that it happened." What is he talking about? Is he referring to the stream issues or something else?

Gonna take a guess and say it was in relation to the premium fee. As far as I understand the upload speed wasn't even high enough to allow the proper bitrate for the higher quality streams. I didn't pay for it, but the few people I know that did said they couldn't even watch it at the higher qualities.

As someone who never had the chat open and only watched it at 360p though I'd say it was an incredibly well done stream outside of a couple issues.

EDIT: Should probably mention the quality of the matches. Even pools were awesome to watch with the quality of players they had on hand. Most of the time I just skip watching pool play and tune in when they get to top 16 or so, but this tournament had good matchups far beyond the top 16.

After browsing Eventhubs and Shoryuken.com a bit more, I think they were referring to the fact that during the some matches in the 5v5 at the end (in particular the grand finals), some ads were played before the rounds were finished which prevented a lot of people from seeing the ending, including Wolfkrone vs. Kindevu.

I can attest to some of that. At the end of a lot of the matches of Grand Finals, I did commercials before the KO. I guess this video sums it up nicely.

Didn't even realize due to adblock, but if that was the case then that was some bad timing by the production. The only ads I had to deal with were the embedded twitchtv ads, but those never got in the way of anything.

I suppose I don't even feel bad for using adblock now. The matches themselves were incredibly good, though.

He already said he isn't. Notice he sucks at footsies and rarely puts himself in a situation where footsies matter?

I love how the one time Floe didn't choke the whole team pulled a floke on him. The irony.

Except for Champ. Shoutout to Filipino Champ being bait.
