I was also told that a beginner like me (probably an understatement too) wouldn't get challenged there. Makes me twice as proud of myself for winning a mirror there for my first game! Are there any mega strong Akumas other than Tokido and Infiltration? I only watch JR on a regular basis, I can't find many Tokido wins on Youtube...

Yeah theres a crosscounter video of Bugis They show three of the big arcades/LAN centers that the top players play at, kelly told me that she's around that area quite a bit too so SG is pretty epic for street fighter.

Concidering trying him out as my new main, still not sure about it though, akuma is a lot of fun also, but i dont think i am quite good enough to play him. Rumor has it that Daigo is actually considering him for his new main. When I played him (Ken not Daigo), I got all the info I needed (and more), at http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?forums/ken.26/ And yeah, Akuma can be a tough character for a beginner, great fun if you master him though. I almost never meet Dhalsims in EU.
