i actually have a copy of blazblue my bro gave me, never played it by myself ever.

and my comment was mainly about how multicultural north america is, and i'm assuming it's weird for foreign people to go to a tourney and see a lot of asian americans etc

No, but i don't like mikey's comment that basically say American's basically black. And for what's it's worth, the very first time i tune in to a tourney i thought the exact same thing.

It's not racist, it's more like a change of scene. I used to play tourney chess, and i see a lot of whites and Asians and barely any black guys. Then i started following Starcraft, no black guys there either, both in and out of Korea.

Then i started tuning in to a ssf4/mvc2 tourney and there's a black guy for a guy of any other skin color. And I was surprised and thought what shawster said.

Same thing for the Japanese players. The only player that looked remotely black that I know in Japan is Ino. I doubt they have more than 2 or 3 black guys in a tourney. Now they come here and see what i saw. What do you think their reaction is?

They didn't mention it, but it was probably in his first couple matches since he had to fight at least 2 matches in Losers to qualify. I'm not an EC hater, I actually love Chris G's play in MK, Marvel and even Super when he decides to dabble. But EC is just getting exposed. If you're a top 3 player in EC you should be qualifying through these pool plays with ease. Yes Marvel is a volatile game and xfactor is retarded but the top players should be able to handle these things.
