i actually have a copy of blazblue my bro gave me, never played it by myself ever.

and my comment was mainly about how multicultural north america is, and i'm assuming it's weird for foreign people to go to a tourney and see a lot of asian americans etc

And obviously you see them all the time in arcade tourneys too rite

So because there aren't many tournament players in Japan that are black, that means they will all be shocked and awed at THE DARK SKINNED MAN IN AMERICA?

Are you really trying to justify shawster's comments? lol... This isn't the fucking 1870's or some shit.

No, but i don't like mikey's comment that basically say American's basically black. And for what's it's worth, the very first time i tune in to a tourney i thought the exact same thing.

lol k

i'm asian-canadian and you know how weird it is to go to china and say i'm canadian? somewhat related since people look at you really weird.

you''re labeling me as a racist for that come on

i'im gonna defend myself by saying that i live in the most multicultural place in the world, everyday i see people of the different race and it's not that big of a deal anymore for me

i'd also like to say that i won't be discussing this issue anymore

It's not racist, it's more like a change of scene. I used to play tourney chess, and i see a lot of whites and Asians and barely any black guys. Then i started following Starcraft, no black guys there either, both in and out of Korea.

Then i started tuning in to a ssf4/mvc2 tourney and there's a black guy for a guy of any other skin color. And I was surprised and thought what shawster said.

Same thing for the Japanese players. The only player that looked remotely black that I know in Japan is Ino. I doubt they have more than 2 or 3 black guys in a tourney. Now they come here and see what i saw. What do you think their reaction is?

They didn't mention it, but it was probably in his first couple matches since he had to fight at least 2 matches in Losers to qualify. I'm not an EC hater, I actually love Chris G's play in MK, Marvel and even Super when he decides to dabble. But EC is just getting exposed. If you're a top 3 player in EC you should be qualifying through these pool plays with ease. Yes Marvel is a volatile game and xfactor is retarded but the top players should be able to handle these things.

So we've also learned that this Phoenix on point guy is actually an awful player except for his Phoenix on point. LOL that makes no sense.

If he had an even average magneto he'd be godlike with this setup.
