Not sure why the Steam client isn't showing this, but there's a Valentines day sale on Co-op games. http://store.steampowered.com/sale/valentine/

There is still some community activity around Forged Alliance, adding modes, units and races. http://www.faforever.com/ Closest thing there is. :/

I own Sleeping Dogs and basic version of Human Revolution. Have played neither yet. So there is good value in it for those not yet having a huge backlog. Square tends to have random games on sale over time. Never the same bundles.

Frankly, 7-8$ for Hitman, Thief, and Deus Ex, is a fucking great deal IMO.

Agreed, pretty much the big 3 of stealth games in the last X years... each with their own style. Although I prefer the older Thief games, I thought DX:HR was top-notch, and the beautiful graphics and crowded environments of the new Hitman really drew me in. Regardless, for $8 this would make my best bundle of the year award, and I already own all 3 games.

I'm not sure I'd call it great. But it's professional. It's well executed, knows what it's trying to be and generally pretty good at being that. I enjoyed it for sure, and the price is right.

I'd call it great if open world games are your thing. It was really the only good open world game in a long time until GTAV and Shadows of Mordor came out. But it was really refreshing compared to a lot of the shit open world games we have been getting from Ubisoft.

Nothing in there really entices me. I got Hammerwatch from another bundle and found to be incredibly boring. Half of the games don't even have coop (Local coop does not really count for me), and there is not a single one of the other games that i think looks interesting, but i have not played them either.

Yeah a friend wanted to buy this but most people said that the games were not worth it so I decided not to buy it (we were considering the 17$ 2 bundle tier)
So on that note any idea for some fun 2 players online coop games? We've played Portal 1 and 2, Trine and Magicka already, any suggestions?

edit: i was thinking about trying alien swarm, it free of course so it's not a big risk but anyone tried it?

Since it is not on your list, i'll mention the same game i always do, Terraria. Amazing game to play with other people, just don't play it alone.

Other ideas: Orcs must Die 2, the Serious Sam games.

Alien Swarm was fun for a few hours with 4, unsure if it'd be any good with 2 tbh, does it even have AI marines?

Gauntlet (2014, from the Magicka devs) is quite fun. Depending on what type of game you're looking for I'd say check out Sanctum, Borderlands 1+2, Torchlight 2, Warframe, Dead Space 2+3, Battleblock Theatre, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and Monaco. There's also stuff like Mount Your Friends, Samurai Gunn, and Nidhogg that are meant more for Local play than online, but I think some of them have online as well (although I'm not 100% sure on that).

Even though I've played them solo, I can strongly recommend Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They're fun to play

Thanks for the ideas, we've played Alien Swarm yesterday, it's a nice little game. We found a third player to help us though, it's hard to survive without medics ^^.
As for the other games i'll keep an eye on them at the next steam sale, i already have monaco so i think we'll try getting this. Gauntlet seems cool as well.
