I played Insurgency when it was a mod and it was a great experience but the standalone game looks more arcade than the original. I wouldn't buy it personally because it looks more like a generic shooter.

edit: I'm a big fan of realism shooters, been playing Red Orchestra since its inception as a standalone.

Damn, my community choice picks never seem to win lol. Spec Ops: The Line is now a flash sale though, it's worth a pickup I would say. The story and the choices along the way make it interesting even if the gameplay is just cover and shoot like the Uncharted games. I think it's worth $6 pretty easily.

And yeah if for any reason you don't have Dark Souls, pick it up. You will need to download some mods and stuff if you want to play with M&K or want it to look nicer. dsfix is essential.

Huh. The Lega Movie Videogame is a Daily Deal and also in the next Community Choice vote. Don't think I've ever seen that happen with a game before. That's a real waste of a community choice slot.

For Rogue Legacy, how much carry over is there between playthroughs? I know you get different character options every time you start over, but are there any gains that you can make?

It really wouldn't surprise me if there is some kind of rigging going on just to make sure that one team doesn't win constantly (since in four days four teams have won with the fifth team looking to win day five). There's definitely some people using tokens to change team, but I can't imagine there's enough to make a team get more than three times as many points as any other team.
