I'm a BF noob (my FPS time was CS 1.0 & Q3) and I personally hate vehicles (hated them in Renegade & other games). Can someone suggest a good role for an infantry player on CB? Dont care what class? | ||

Otherwise you will have to help out with pushes with any class, but the map view is bad, you can't see where you need to go(ie where your teammates/nonsquad-mates are making a push). | ||

Dont care what class? engineer for defensive purposes works wonders. assault / support for more rushing to stations supporting squad with health/ammo and suppressive fire recon works pretty good too if your intention is to put a spawn beacon behind lines to have swift access to stations etc | ||

However, at the time of BF2 release, there were no self-patchers. You had to do every patch yourself. It could be a pretty unforgiving process.... | ||
