The only thing this has ever lead to was spawnkilling and vehicle stealing (4 enemy jets yay!) I cant think of any legit thing you should be doing in the enemy base (aside from destroying assets in bf2) | ||

Have you guys encountered lots of hackers so far? I played on three different servers yesterday and every one of them had a hacker. One guy was 69-0 three minutes into the game, and was killing people half the map away. I know BF2 was filled with hackers (lol cartillery) but I hope they can crack down somewhat before release. | ||

But i played bf2/2142 at the highest level in oceania, and the timing of stealing enemy assets added huge depth to already very complex strats. ie for example, the transport chopper in mashtuur city was so valuable in 16v16 clan wars because if you flew it high to the map ceiling and had people spawn on you, they could 'fly' to any point on the map. So in the grand final for some league, our team spent hours practicing a pixel shot from 5 AT guys on the other side of the map to destroy the opponents chopper before it got up, and then timing a jeep to go around the map to steal their chopper when it respawns. None of that will happen in competitive matches because of DICEs constant babying of the daddy gamers and their complete inflexibility of adding custom server side options. | ||
