"The Canada Cup Live Stream starts very early tomorrow morning (November 13th), so I wan't to make sure to remind everyone to wake up early and tune in. You'll be able to view the stream on Team Spooky's channel, and it will feature Super Street Fighter 4 players like Mago, Daigo Umehara, Justin Wong, Mike Ross, JSMaster, and Air all vying for the championship. Don't miss it!"
If anyone is in Calgary, definitely go check this out live! This tournament has a lot of big names, and it's also right after the SoCal regionals. However, this time around I don't think Filipino Champ will be in attendance - hopefully J Wong can give Daigo a run for his money.
All times are MST November 13 10:00am - Doors open, players register and pick up their player's packages 12:00pm - SSF4 Singles (to top 8) and then Teams (to top 4) 12:00pm - Other tournaments begin 12:00am - Doors close
November 14 10:00am - Doors open 11:00am - SSF4 Singles and Teams finals 03:00pm - Awards ceremony 04:00pm - Doors close
well much like in brood war, the theory part of my game is rock solid, but i rarely apply my own knowledge to game situations.
my chun li is a beautiful, complex lotus blossom. i could never teach you to see the game through my eyes, but i can write long diatribes about how to footsie with her
Jwong also went 7 for 7, Mago lost his 7th round so he went 6 for 7, and I believe Wong 2-0'd all but the last guy, and pretty much double perfected half of them.
For the record, each match was one game, 3 out of 5 rounds, so the score is by rounds.
Daigo vs. Air (Ryu) 3-1 Daigo vs. Jozhear (Vega) 3-0 Daigo vs. JimKim (Bison) 3-0 Daigo vs. JS Master (Balrog) 3-2 Daigo vs. Glenn (Blanka) 3-0 Daigo vs. Hai (Guile) 3-0 Daigo vs. Evo (Fei Long) 3-1 ----------------------------- Daigo wins 7-0

Mago vs. Air 3-1 Mago vs. Jozhear 3-0 Mago vs. JimKim 3-0 Mago vs. JS Master *JS MASTER WINS 3-1 Mago vs. James Jones 3-0 Mago vs. Glenn (T. Hawk) 3-1 Mago vs. Ricardo 3-0 Mago vs. Hai 3-0 ------------------- Mago wins 6-1
JS Master (Balrog) with the reverse OCV on Air (Ryu), Mago (Sagat), and Daigo (Guile). Team tournament is single elim so they're out. Edit: actually, they're playing against Team Calgary for 3rd place, since 3rd place gets money.
To the Canadian commentator who asked, "Who does this guy play against to get this good?!?!" The answer is Canadians: Toronto and Montreal. West coast just doesn't know about east coast.
JS taking such huge risks, must've just lost it at the end. Mago caught him at the same spot between those standing jabs with cr.mk twice.
I don't like his fadcs either. No one gets thrown by cr.rh fadc from rog. Even the first time you see it, teching that throw is just a natural reaction lol

For a major? we do. MLG sets records in the tens if not hundreds of thousands. this tourny peaked around 13.5k during finals, but we've gotten those numbers on day9 daily's, and several different tournaments like the EG masters cup, among other events.
