Starting Friday or Saturday, W8baby released to the public a packet that would make MS believe that a junk item(Bow for Arrow, Red Pot, etc) was a maple weapon. You'd then turn in the maple weapon to cassandra for 5 or 7 maple coins. Rinse and repeat x infinity. Chaos scrolls dropped to ~100k. Monday, 12:00am. Nexon was like, we've been tracking this issue for the last few days(BS). Unscheduled maintenance. Everyone thought there would be RB for last few days.... nope. Nexon now saying, We'll give you a week to drop all the hacked items that you bought/hacked for. We'll ban anyone who doesn't get rid of them. Anything event related is now untradeable. | ||

Plus I'm sure they can track items. Or at least look at your item transaction log (includes dropping, npcing etc.) Will they go thru everyone's? Probably not. They're probably use a bot to just scan through them so I'd be worried. Back to IB studying | ||

This kind of makes me glad I'm not playing because then I'd have to deal with all this stuff again. Last time there was a meso exploit, the FM went to chaos for a day and when the dust settled a rollback later I was out 8b and MTS ate 2 of my items worth almost 200k. I can imagine the FM is exactly how it was then, except this time the economy stays broken and everybody but hackers lose. | ||
