Daylight saving time will begin and the server time must be adjusted to reflect this change. what does that mean? | ||

We moved our clocks one hour forward today kes. So 2am became 3am for us this morning. | ||

In the US we have something called Daylight savings, which sets the clock back an hour during the fall and sets it forward again in the spring. Today the clocks were set forward, but that doesn't happen automatically with the server. Having a mismatch between server time and the "real" time can create a lot f potential problems, so they are doing the maintenance to fix the server time. They extended the server downtime another half an hour, just when the server was supposed to go up. How typical. | ||
