Floating islands, underground worlds complete with trees and lakes, lava worlds, oceans, mountains with overhangs, etc. It's just very hard to get it exactly how you want it, as the terrain generator isn't designed to do that really. As an example, because I have oceans there are very few mountains in my world. This was a trade-off for oceans... I had to smooth out the overall landscape in order to get large enough oceans. Ironically, the sea floor in most places is really, really low, and basically riddled with large underwater mountains. Go figure. | ||
