(16 images within, be warned) + Show Spoiler + We moved a mountain to make a leg! This one was about 30x30 blocks. The entire creation is 130x130 blocks I believe, which is what our next project (mountain removal) was! Good times. ![]() ![]() ![]() Pics of legs 3 and 4! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

http://www.shacknews.com/laryn.x?id=24179685#itemanchor_24179685 Windows MC Server Admins Thought this might come in handy... was talking to my programmer friend at work today and mentioned I've had my Minecraft server crash a few times cause it runs out of memory. He wrote up a quick app that I guess gets Java to clean up it's memory usage... I don't know the exact inner workings. But it definitely helps keep the memory usage from getting out of control. I set it as a scheduled task on my server to run every 12 hours. Make sure you set it to run with an account that Administrator Privileges. If your using Win 2K8 or Win7 make sure the run with highest privileges option is selected. http://shadowdane.shackspace.com/Minecraft/TrimJavaMem.zip just sent him an IM... he said it calls the SetProcessWorkingSetSize() api function, instructs the kernel to reduce the memory footprint of javaw.exe. not sure if that helps since you're on linux, but i'll throw it out there anyways
