To everyone above going to play. Are all you going to play Lord of Destruction or an expansion character? I want some people who will play with me in Non-Expansion [Classic Diablo 2] Is anyone down for that?

@CrownRoyal - not sure but probably between noon and 2pm because there isnt a patch coming w/ it so it shouldnt take as long as usual.

P.S. someone please join me in Classic Non Expansion ladder! It's way better than LoD anyways! are any one of you that are playing down?

Hey guys I have a dilemma. I can't find my d2 classic cd key, but I have two expansion cd keys and I would greatly appreciate if someone helped me out with a classic cd key and I would in turn give you a working expansion cd key. PM me if anyone is interested.

Hmm, that sucks, i shall be off to work when the Ladder comes back up. I will be available at approximately 02:00 GMT (+00:00) for some D2 action though.

Btw, definitely playing a Barb on HC.

@Priph, i wouldn't mind playing Classic, although there is just plain out more people on xpac that i don't think it is worth it. Plus, you see a lot more variety in LoD play, as everyone isn't a sorc(teleport), barb(Battle Orders/Command/shout as well as best CC), or hammerdin because the rest of the classes have become more viable because of xpac changes.

As someone who played D2 Classic for two years straight religously, it pretty much boils down to BvB barb (bo, shout, WW, weapon mastery, offensive gear focus), Blizz/orb sorc, Meteor sorc, and a hammerdin. Zon's focused around lite fury arn't too bad, and bone necros play well in nightmare, but other than that you are pretty much just gimping yourself.

In general though, Hammerdins have the best non-tele movement (charge+vigor), the best survivability (ala redemption+holyshield) and the most damage (Concentration+Hammers) so aside from a Sorc/barb you get kicked out of diablo runs if there are good dins who want to play instead as a zon/necro/barb with bad BO/sorc with latency.

That said, <3 D2 Classic to no end.

If so say I am priph, officially in your ladder run on classic. and i will inquire you further. specifically iCanada. you going to play your barb on HcCL-L with me? come on dudes. i need someone who isnt going LOD cause they think everyone else is. there will be plenty of people on classic, specifically also i think classic has a cooler more respectable community and i disagree with what you said about zons/necros. so that makes any build viable. and fuck a bonemancer when you can make a fishymancer. they can own hell themselves dude. so anyway. come to classic and if you are going to for sure let me know that you are for sure and
