Btw, definitely playing a Barb on HC. ^_^ @Priph, i wouldn't mind playing Classic, although there is just plain out more people on xpac that i don't think it is worth it. Plus, you see a lot more variety in LoD play, as everyone isn't a sorc(teleport), barb(Battle Orders/Command/shout as well as best CC), or hammerdin because the rest of the classes have become more viable because of xpac changes. | ||

As someone who played D2 Classic for two years straight religously, it pretty much boils down to BvB barb (bo, shout, WW, weapon mastery, offensive gear focus), Blizz/orb sorc, Meteor sorc, and a hammerdin. Zon's focused around lite fury arn't too bad, and bone necros play well in nightmare, but other than that you are pretty much just gimping yourself. In general though, Hammerdins have the best non-tele movement (charge+vigor), the best survivability (ala redemption+holyshield) and the most damage (Concentration+Hammers) so aside from a Sorc/barb you get kicked out of diablo runs if there are good dins who want to play instead as a zon/necro/barb with bad BO/sorc with latency. That said, <3 D2 Classic to no end. | ||
