No, you wouldn't maindeck him. But I feel U/B Control is incredibly powerful right now. It just feels like the natural enemy of Wolfrun Ramp and it's more consistent than the Solar Flare; the mirror is the one place where you have to scrimp and grind for that advantage, Reassembling Skeleton might be the card. Who knows, it could just get Dissipated.

I think anytime your opponent opts to burn 3 mana on a 2mana 1/1, you might be getting some value ![]() I hope he does make it into some sideboards, hes a neat card for the current decks floating around.

This deck can be hyper aggressive, but if they have a hand to slow it down it can still have gas for the late game. (tempered steel did a 2x menite, 1x mox opal 2x white spellbomb on the first turn. I was able to regain the board and win it eventually.) I still have some work to do and actually pay attention to the meta game some more. R(G)DW Wolf Run is quirky but it still works well. Anyone have a Koth RDW to try it out against? Solar flare, and Tempered steel do not seem so bad, I had a little struggle versus a Green Titan/Dungrove Elder(first game was tough barely won, second game was cake with the side board). + Show Spoiler [Modified R(G)DW Wolf Run] + Creatures: 20 4x Chandra's Phoenix 4x Stromkirk Noble 4x Stormblood Berserker 2x Hero of Oxid Ridge 4x Goblin Arsonist 2x Grim Lavamancer Spells: 11 3x Gut Shot 4x Brimestone Volley 4x Incinerate Other Spells: 6 3x Garruk Relentless 3x Shrine of Burning Rage Land: 23 2x Forest 10x Mountain 4x Rootbound Crag 4x Copperline Gorge 3x Kessig Wolf Run Sideboard: 15 3x Ancient Grudge 3x Traitorous Blood 3x Arc Trail 2x Tree of Redemption 3x Vulshok Refugee 1x Beast Within

and with the meta turning towards control, use furnace scamps instead of arsonists. also cut the gut shots. i would do this if you really insist on running green -1 garruk -3 gut shot -1 incinerate -2 goblin arsonist +4 furnace scamp +1 shrine +2 geistflame also i would cut the forests for more mountains

Garruk is getting way more play that lilliana and will definitely go up more. He's already at 22 versus lily's 30.

Edit: I played against this deck at States and the card that actually hosed me was Lily, because she actually locked me out completely.
