Hmm, ya reassembling skeleton could do it. Definitely gonna try him out. Problem with jace is whoever plays a big spell first is just going to be down on mana and lose the counter war and then let the opponent resolve something. I guess jace would be really good if your opponent was bad and tried playing something first.

Dont main board him though, a remember reading some article of a guy putting him mainboard and being awfully slow verse aggro with it, and coming into play tapped does not help anything outside of mirrors.

No, you wouldn't maindeck him. But I feel U/B Control is incredibly powerful right now. It just feels like the natural enemy of Wolfrun Ramp and it's more consistent than the Solar Flare; the mirror is the one place where you have to scrimp and grind for that advantage, Reassembling Skeleton might be the card.

Who knows, it could just get Dissipated.

I think anytime your opponent opts to burn 3 mana on a 2mana 1/1, you might be getting some value

I hope he does make it into some sideboards, hes a neat card for the current decks floating around.

Alternately just drownyard yourself, and then use its ability to keep having it come back over and over again.

Went undefeated tonight on MTGO with the below slightly modified deck. (only played 4 bo3's) I will try it out with some Koth's on Thursday.

This deck can be hyper aggressive, but if they have a hand to slow it down it can still have gas for the late game. (tempered steel did a 2x menite, 1x mox opal 2x white spellbomb on the first turn. I was able to regain the board and win it eventually.)

I still have some work to do and actually pay attention to the meta game some more. R(G)DW Wolf Run is quirky but it still works well. Anyone have a Koth RDW to try it out against? Solar flare, and Tempered steel do not seem so bad, I had a little struggle versus a Green Titan/Dungrove Elder(first game was tough barely won, second game was cake with the side board).

If you're beating Solar Flare post-board, then you're playing some shitty Solar Flare lists and/or players especially with that list.

please please please run 4 shrines.
and with the meta turning towards control, use furnace scamps instead of arsonists.
also cut the gut shots.

i would do this if you really insist on running green
-1 garruk
-3 gut shot
-1 incinerate
-2 goblin arsonist

+4 furnace scamp
+1 shrine
+2 geistflame

also i would cut the forests for more mountains

Ya, I would go with Orpheos' suggestions as well as
-3 garruk
-2 hero of oxid ridge

+4 koth
+1 geistflame

Also, does anyone even still play solar flare? I've yet to play vs one online.

Yeah I will make the changes tonight that Orpheus mentioned. Seems like a lot of replies went towards the adding of the 4th shrine, and I was already pondering furnace scamp over arsonists. I like the keeping 2 arsonists and adding 4 scamps in a lot.Gut shot was there mostly for my turn 2 bloodthirsted Stormblood Berserker if I couldn't get a 1 drop through.

I don't know about online, the Solar Flare deck is fairly expensive all things considered and requires heavy tuning after the fact. Still though, I think it's the strongest deck post-board.

Liliana dropped 7 tickets in the past 3 days. If you are holding onto one to sell it, you'd better do it quick before it drops lower.

Most good Solar decks don't run more than 1 Lily if any at all.

That seems to be the sliding trend. Less Liliana, glad I traded the ones I had away.

I'm in the same boat. I drafted her in the pre-release event, and then sold her for 30 tickets.

The opposite trend in mono-black infect which is a particularly nasty deck that most decks simply can not beat without some serious board considerations.

Lilliana will definitely drop down to at least 20, probably down to 12-13. So glad I traded mine for 60 tickets first day of sealed. Snapcaster is going down too, mostly because so many packs are being opened now. Although it is ridiculously good I could see it dropping down to 15-20 by mid november.

Garruk is getting way more play that lilliana and will definitely go up more. He's already at 22 versus lily's 30.

MBI with its Plague Stingers, man. I haven't seen any Liliana's personally, they've got removal and they don't seem to gain much advantage from her +1. It'd seem weird to see her.

EDIT: Did I misunderstand Judicator's post? O_o

MBI's Lilys will resolve in response to Mirran Crusaders and/or after a Whispering Specter trigger. They'll just make sure you sit in top-deck mode with multiple threats to deal with. It's not actually possible for you to win post-Lily if they resolve it smartly.

Edit:

I played against this deck at States and the card that actually hosed me was Lily, because she actually locked me out completely.
