I made a fool of myself thinking it was -1/-1 counters and tried to make a black/green melira deck before I actually really read the card. I'm going to try white/blue mill myself, and I might try to work i that treppaning blade myself. Just he horror flavor of the meaning of the word trepanation gives me chills.

Free Myr Superion? Perilous Myr is like a free shock? Priest of Urabrask into a Urabrask? That's about it from me.

Seems good with Mimic Vat.

How?

abuse cip effects and morbid effects

I think it'd be all about playing those slightly overcosted creatures with ridiculous abilities. With smaller "when X dies, do Y" creatures to fuel morbid and give you stuff.

Mimic Vat already works with cip effects, and there have to be boundless better ways to sacrifice creatures than an enchantment that gives all your guys -1/-1, so I'm not sure what you're suggesting here. Mimic Vat is already close to being a card though, so perhaps morbid will give it a chance to shine, just not seeing the synergy with Heartless Summoning in particular.

Rofl, that's hilarious.Turn two, drop 4 superions. Sup. Obviously this would not happen, but can you imagine the opponent's face? Hahaha

Thursday night draft coming at you from flagstaff! I'll update throughout the night.
Edit: it's a fucking scars block draft.
Edit 2: if it's possible this deck is worse than my last. It's slow as fuck and green red black. What.... And I managed to pass a wellspring and emissary for cards I'm not even using :/

Because Heartless Summon discounts the summon and you want something repeatable; Mimic Vat is just something I came off the top of my head, not saying it's going to great.

Heartless Summoning doesn't reduce the activation cost of mimic vat.

Right, it only affects creature spells. The best thing I've got for mimic vat is perilous myr as a three mana shock on a stick.

I know, you're not going to rely on Heartless Summoning the entire time. Mimic Vat might just find a home in the deck since HS is clearly meant to throw out creatures. I just think you guys are overlooking what the -2 cost does for tempo. Vat just comes out as something that simply makes killing the creatures not favorable. Mimic Vat just seems to fit the deck.
Also, Myr Superion is on curve to what is available now?

Fuck skittles, seriously. Came in third

This Saturday I just signed up for my first standard tournament. Gonna have to go home tomorrow to build a deck, because I'm in a 32 man tourney for a playset of Force of Wills. 2nd gets a box, and all the way down to 8th place gets a nice prize. Entry fee was only 20 bucks so I was like.... fuck it.
Edit: Advice?

May just be because the area I play in is not that great but I took this list to a similar tourney at my local, ended up taking 3rd which netted me a Fat pack ^^ the only part that i'm not too happy with is Ajani, when i did get him down he was a ridiculous clock, getting the 4m for him though...

Thinking more about Heartless Summoning, I'm not a Modern player at all, but this does allow for a turn 2-3 Abyssal Persecutor. That sounds utterly fearsome.
Otherwise, until the rest of Innistrad is released, it seems like some kind of weird Glissa the Traitor+Perilous Myr+Heartless Summoning might be the most fun we'll be getting out of this card. The only other stuff I've really thought of as any fun is turn 3 Thrun, Turn 3 Psychosis Crawler(maybe some combo there?,) 1 Blue Deceiver Exarch, 2 Black Entomber Exarch and 0 mana Spellskite.
Someone smarter than me will probably break the card.
EDIT: 1 Green Dungrove Elder, WUUUUUTTTT!?!
