get a machop for this gym. you'll need it. Also use reach )if he has any fighting moves, or else don't) and then have hardgay and steveirwin.
steps to getting a machop: Go to the goldenrod department store, and talk to one of the people (i think its the 3rd floro or higher). One of them wil lasks you to trade a pokemon (i forget) for machop.
Go out and catch said pokemon and trade for equal level machop.
Train machop, and win =P
also, if you get it, can you name it Best?

Ehhh... You'll have to watch out for the Miltank's Rollout and make sure you kill it kind of quickly since it has Milk Drink to restore half it's health. It's a really annoying pokemon .
