Having Robinho nowhere is a mistake. The subs at 88 or so burning his own precious time were all mistakes. And it's not too hard to defend with 10 packed in the box. Catania's D was good but Milan's management... Leonardo woulda never played it like that. Ugh, huge let down. Milan's D is a problem. A big problem.. but hey, at least Antonini had a good game. there is no fucking anti-arsenal conspiracy song's first yellow was obviously an awful call, but why would he commit a blatant professional foul with about 5 defenders behind him in sunderland's half, while on a yellow? every ref in europe would have sent him off for that. | ||

The extra time shit happens, and arsenal deserve what they got because that's what happens when you don't put games away(missed penalty, missed 1v1's on the keeper). You give the other team the chance to come back and make a game out of it. All in all, I thought Arsenal played well defensively and I'm very proud of them for that. It's the type of game where you have to grind away and I think Arsenal showed some good qualities. The only things that I saw them do wrong are: 1) Arshavin plays like utter shit and can't do 1 decent pass in the first half of games or finish consistently. When Denilson came on, the game took on a new look. 2) wilshere is still young for his position. I'm sorry, you can't expect wilshere to have the physique to play hard against the bulky players of sunderland. Everytime there was any sort of hard contact, he was on the ground because his body isn't strong enough yet. Don't get me wrong Wilshere will be the MOST skillful and probably the best player England will have in the next 10 years. His talent and vision are up there with Captain magnificent, he can shoot, he can score and his dribbling skills are strong. | ||

Also, wtf was Hodgson thinking by removing meireiles. The guy was the engine of your team and you go and take him off. I think after the 2-2, you cannot do that to your team. He basically removed all momentum from the team when he did that. Edit: Oh and Nani should be suspended for diving left and right like eduardo was before. Nani is truly a shitbag for attempting to deceive the referee specially when Liverpool were attacking and the ref stopped the game. That shouldn't happen. When Man U see an injured player, they NEVER stop playing and the refs let them play. Although Liverpool didn't deserve the win in the first half, they showed courage in the second half and could have won the game but poor tactical switches from the manager cost them | ||
