I thought Fabregas and RVP were a doubt for the Lpool match, that's why i voted Lpool but then again I thought Drogba, Cech and Alex would be missing the opener supposedly so was really delighted today!
Manchester city is disorganized because they didn't have time to play with each other enough and Tottenham Spurs had quality in their passes and overall play. As many said, if it wasn't for Hart, the game would have been very ugly.
After that game, I watched villa vs west ham and boy was it one sided 4-0!! After that, I watched chelsea destroy west brom. Finally, i took the time to also watch barcelona vs Sevilla and it was a decent game even though it was barcelona B.
After watching the EPL all day and Barcelona vs Sevilla, I turn to watch Henry with his new team in the MLS and the game was awful =(. The passes, shots and crosses were awful. It lacked quality and ORGANIZATION. You can see Henry's frustration on the pitch I feel bad for him. I hope that his team does better.
Anyways match of the day was Man City vs Tottenham :D
Mancini's system didn't work very well. Tevez tracked back a lot to get the ball which left no one up front. Wingers didn't provide as Wright Phillips was awful. No one supported Silva when he had the ball in the final third. Yaya Toure had to make runs forward and in turn made a mess of everything. City was way too conservative with their lineup. They're gonna get a million draws this season again if they keep playing like that.
lol @ Henry and the Red Bulls. I thought about watching MLS this season to support soccer in the US but I just can't do it.
It looked like Mancini wanted to not lose that game and was happy with a draw. De Jong, Tore and Kompany they looked defensive.
Why did he give the armband to Tevez btw? Seems a bit weird with the fact that Yaya Toure also came to the club his brother was the captain at. But I guess they won't really care about that.
I think its reasonable mancini put out a defensive team in the opening game of the season away to a dangerous side, which is not the time to experiment your attacking options. theyll be very happy with the point

Every time Arshavin has the ball I will him to score, he always does brilliant strikes at Anfield
