Daigomi - I did normal in just over 4hours with a 2player group. I know I wasn't do anything special that other racers weren't, other than seeing the Korean stream and knowing where to go, but everyone on a later than Asia release had that advantage. Given a little time speed runs could probably get normal down to 3hours.

Really enjoying it so far. I just finished Act I in a little over 4 hours as a DH. I must say the last boss was a nice touch, not to mention some fairly interesting boss mechanics. I've come close to dying a few times, though the hardest part to date was dealing with a Jailer pack of those charging bull mobs about halfway through Act I. Anyone that says this is not a suitable sequel to D2 is honestly fooling themselves. The last boss of Act I alone probably has more mechanics than Andariel, Duriel and Meph combined.

Sorry to ask this here, but is anyone else getting error 37 for Europe realm?
I started to play the game and it defaulted me to the Americas probably because the beta client was set there too. Then my friends told me to get my ass on the EU server later that day for a gaming night, but I tired to log in now and can't seem to be able to do so.
Game purchased in EU and am in EU ATM (not that it matters, it's global play...)

Well if the fastest people managed is around 4 hours, how the hell is that suposed to be the average time a casual player will spend on the game? Specially someone that will only play Normal and then give up on it. Saying the game will only last for 4 hours and then there will be no replay value is simply wrong. And even if 7 hours is too much for Normal, his estimative of 21 hours for Hell is very conservative, considering the jump in difficulty.

Hey guys, I know Starcraft II had a Facebook Friend Finder that helped me get onboard with my friends quickly. I don't know how to access this feature in D3 or if it even exists. Anyone know what the deal with this is?

Seriously? how the fuck are people beating the game in, supposedly 4 hours? the first act took me and my buddy 4-5hours and we were playing nonstop! If your watching streams of people beating the game that's another thing, but in that case you have only yourself to blame for watching another player beating the game before you.

I'm a Diablo veteran and i'm at the end of act three and i have played ~12hours, i haven't been playing SUPERserious with the intention of speedrunning it, but NO casual is going to beat the game in 4hours (without looking having watched another player beat it first)

I just take my time, no rush, i visited every dongeon, and it's not short at all. Rushers made all the game(in normal mode) in 4-5 hours? Ok, cool, but the game is way deeper than that.

@Mango Chicken : If for you playing a game means "rushing to the final boss without following the story", then yes, don't buy D3.

May have been said--but I find it amusing that the featured stream list shows a ton of foreigners playing D3...and Koreans still plugging away at SC2 like it's their job.

Anyways, I love Barbarian, although I'm only level 11 atm and have to prove my worth or some such. I feel like I haven't really "got" the game yet as far as crafting and bringing companions (Templar, Scoundrel, etc.), and the story hasn't quite hooked yet, but hopefully that will happen by the end of act.

played for a while, I really like that, I take my time and it took me quite some hours actually to finish Act 1 with 3 other friends, however we like to explore every part of the entire map and every dungeon aswell as listening to dialogus and taking frequent shop trips.

BUT THEN I GOT DCED AND NOW I CAN'T LOGIN ANYMORE
