As long as you are completely focused on D3 i bet they are. But who knows if there will be news about the new MMO or Starcraft II. :-)

Maybe something about HotS, but I doubt there will be anything about that new MMO.

How can I listen to the stream?
The link says "video is not available".
|
|
|
You need a US-IP for the Youtube stream. Tried with my original german-ip and the video wasn't available. with us-proxy, no problem :O
|
Still not available.
Maybe I can't watch it in my country. Wouldn't make any sense though because I can't think of any copyrighted material in the cast.
edit: Thanks lori.

its definitely not US IP only, my irish IP works and my friend is on a swiss IP and it works as well

Doesn't matter. German IPs aren't working.

It directly affects the bottom line of the business, which is what these quarterly conference calls are all about. I don't associate the normal (or average) person as a large share holder of blizzard stock or having some other interest that they'd need to know such things. There's a reason the conference call exists, but I think a lot of people tuned in thinking it'd be something like Blizzcon or State of the Game where it's geared for entertainment. Stereotyping the entire internet for the sake of simplicity, the only things people care about is if the Diablo 3 beta is going to be starting soon (preferably a date) and a release date for the game. I can't see an average person being any more engaged than these news bits that may or may not be released. Pretty much the ONLY thing a Blizzard investor cares about (besides how much money Bliz made last quarter) is when games (or WOW expansions) are going to be released. Um, you have no idea just how wrong you are.

Madness! All of this extra fluff that is getting covered in the conference call is obviously just to confuse and irritate everybody while creating a feeling of epic suspense while we wait for them to drop the release date bombshell on us!
Right?

So much for a Q4 2011 release
|
Well it seems like they did mention release dates:
They expect no releases this year, but two releases next year.
|
No planned release for 2011. 2 planned releases for 2012 (D3, HotS)?
