There is a spoiler warning for everyone who has purchased the Collector's Edition. They say in the artwork collection, and in the Behind the Scenes DVD there are some pretty huge spoilers. So play through on Normal first before opening up the book/DVD if that matters to you.

Probably the same guy who's been writing all of Blizzard's games since WoW launched. I mean, really, who else would come up with such jewels as "I fear nothing!111" and "Your rage makes you powerful!" Really, at this point, Metzen and his crew should just save their energy and start pilfering lines from the fantasy hacks they probably read. It would actually be an upgrade. Where did the good writing in Blizzard's games go? What's going on, I mean, talent doesn't just disappear. Their guys must have left or been fired, because Metzen is clearly about as fit to write dialog as a circus monkey. ;__;

Afaik, Blizz lore was always good, but the lines and dialogues were always cheesy, and the stories were just a lot of people and a lot of killing without much more than that.

I'm not sure how big a role he had in writing this, but I didn't think it was terrible. A little generic, but it was ok. Cheesy has always been a part of Blizzards writing. After that you could play campaign offline. Does this apply to D3 as well? After i log in for 1st time and lets say create my character, can i play with that hero offline? Does his hero will be updated and upload to battle.net after i log in with internet connection? Maybe this issue has been said here, hard to go through 330 pages. Any links to official information on this? Nope. Strictly online.

In celebration of a successful beta test, all players who were invited to participate in the Diablo III closed beta will receive the commemorative Feat of Strength, "One of the Chosen." For eligible players, this feat will appear automatically in the Feat of Strength list after logging in for the first time as well as unlock a unique sigil that can be used on character banners. In order to be eligible for "One of the Chosen," you must have had a Diablo III closed beta license attached to your Battle.net account (it isn't necessary to have downloaded or logged into the beta itself). Please note that players who participated only in the Open Beta Weekend, but were not invited to the closed beta, will not receive this Feat of Strength.

for example, in a 4 man party, if each player is in a different Act, when they start killing monsters, will loot be dropped for every member of the group or just 1 player in each of the different Acts? if there is a certain distance players need to be in for loot to be generated for them, does anyone know that distance?
