IRL responsibilities > D3 No. D3 > Everything else. That's what I keep saying, but my friends make fun of me because I took a weeks vacation from work to play what they call "just a videogame". Just a videogame? HEATHENS! Clearly they've never played the previous games if so.

Waking up this morning for work, I feel like shit after a 3 days SC2 binge. D3 is gonna be a tough test...! Still 2 weeks to wait and you damn well know first day is gonna be impossible to play with all the lag and server issues (prolly).

Honestly I kinda hope so, since I have my final "hard" test on the 16th and would probably miss the first day anyhow... wouldn't want to fall behind now, would I?

SC2 was fine the first day, wasn't it?

Somehow managed to get myself a 14 hours shift for the release date, my precious unemployed friends will have cleared normal(hopefully an exaggeration) by the time I get home.
Oh well at least I have day off 16th and 17th, and then another 14 hours shift... Getting pretty hyped for this game.
Also thanks for the link to the lore videos, pretty interesting watch.

So in the inventory menu where you see all your stats, dmg, attributes... it seems like its missing some like + %physical dmg, +%cold, fire, poison, arcane, lightning dmg... and also missing -enemy %resistance... such as - % enemy poison resistance. I assume that those can be prefixes on items... or else they really are missing one crucial aspect of the game either that or they didnt implent those attributes into the detailed stat menu which they should...

Looks like you need to get yourself some new friends.

Online-Gaming > RL. Real Life is just a boring and senseless joke. Life is about killing time in the best possible way. D3 will be very great for killing time to get closer to your death.

I noticed this too - there are some stats missing from the character sheet (which is pretty cluttered) I hope they will change this in release version, I really don't like the idea of certain mechanics being hidden completely - it makes it harder to improve as a player.

they should have designed that stat sheet better... and make it so it flip pages instead of a dragging mechanism like how plugy worked for D2. And it is missing many stats and also have many useless stats that we dont really care.

Possible plot spoiler.
+ Show Spoiler + Fuck, I was really curious when I found out she was the Warrior's daughter. I knew there was going to be some connection to Diablo with her. Not 100% sure that I like the connection between the two, but it does mean that it'll at least make some kind of sense as to how Diablo survived.

Considering Izual told us that the soul stones were a scam in the first place, the plot line is already wide open regardless.

Sort of old news, but I haven't seen this being discussed for the 10ish pages that ive been following this thread:
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/blog/4278737/Diablo_III_Launch_Events_Across_Europe-25_04_2012
Basically european copies get to play the game may 15th on 00:01 CEST, which is +1 GMT. American and canadian copies get to play the game may 15th 00:01 PST I believe, which is -7 GMT I think.
In other words, european copies get to play the game good 8 hours earlier than american copies, possibly to not overload the servers. Maybe this is old news, but like I said, I haven't seen it discussed and I just felt like rubbing it in. :D

New trailer is up (beware, it's a little spoiler-y):

You might need to turn off ad-block software. Couldn't find a youtube link, sorry!

Whoa, Tyrael is still slamming his sword and breaking things, in addition to tackling evil literally.
