mp5pl yellows seem like overkill on him, I never really have mana problems on Nasus with mp5pl blues + meditation. Here's my mastery setup: http://leaguecraft.com/masteries/0000000000000003033401001000030140031030000
Personally I like rushing Aegis on him so if I catch the other team sleeping we can sneak a lvl 11 Baron in, though I do get Sheen right after. Not really a fan of HoG since he's such a good farmer and I don't usually build Randuin's on him. Stark's seems like a better investment most games than TriForce too (if you feel the need to get more DPS items, I usually just get tank stuff after Sheen), but I guess no one likes being an aura bitch, lol.
Edit: oh, and skill order I use is Q first, E, W at level 4. R>E>Q/W. I usually don't spirit fire until E is level 3 and one-shots ranged minions.

Warmogs as an opening item makes sense to me as Morde actually. :x
It is a lot of HP regen and it benefits from farming, something which morde is amazing at.

also, i think iwantattention (who is probably the #1 nasus) rushes GA and picks up triforce afterwards. can't remember his exact build but his team was so fucking annoying to play against since they picked up baron so fast with nasus ult and a jungler.

Nothing's better than mp5 runes imo, but if I were to ever change them, it'd be swapping out the blues for mres plvl.

Strego also often went Warmog on Morde, IIRC.

Near all mordes I meet rush FoN, thornmail or sunfire with sorc boots.
Didnt see a warmog (much less a good one) on a good player for a whole lot of time.

Imo FoN + Randuin as starters provide much more utility and survivability at midgame and the pieces you use to build up those babies help mord early game as well.

I think it depends. Warmogs is good if their team has, say, Olaf (who will ignore your MR and Armor) and a lot of diversified damage. Most of the damage you'll be taking though (unless they're stupid and focus you) will be incidental magic AoE. FoN is the best item for Morde in 9/10 of all situations because of the high hp regen and magic resist.
Really, though, olaf destroys morde no matter what by that point. Also yeah randuins is great.
