this list sucks starcraft is #1 no contest and starcraft2 should be on here and its not even out yet! but really runescape? how many 10 year olds were the ones that voted for this? also lego batman.... lego....batman.... sad.... yea its such a bad game, but it was the first not totally crappy ego shooter for consoles and american xbox kids, who never experienced some decent pc ego shooters, think its actually a good game.

I don't understand why people care about this list. It is some random survey of Other People's opinions, and naturally they will differ from you. Unless people start to make decisions based off this list, then there is no reason as to why you should pay heed to it. Go ahead and criticize its methods or results if you want, but I think that it is rather pointless. Making the discussion about what should be the top 50 list is fine though.

this is games ranked by popularity, which is often very different from games ranked by quality. but one is quantitative, while the other is qualitative, so its obvious which will be chosen to rank.

That list sucks. I'm sorry but FF and SC should be so farther up on the list then they are. And Halo... Halo just sucks. It should be in the 30s if anything. SC2 should be on that list too even though only the beta has been out.

i understand how all the wii games/multiplayer fps and party games (rock band) beat starcraft ...due to the enormous number of "casual" (soccer moms, air headed 12 year olds) playing it...
but content wise...these games are crap (w/ the exception of zelda, ff series).
