i don't recall anyone blaming it on the refs...pure officiating job on both ends imo (surprise surprise). and the real reason why thecelts lost was because of ray allen lol
I only got to see the last 3 minutes of game and the replay calls are interesting. They help a lot as was the case with the Laker last touch that was really hard to see. The other Karate-chop foul turnover must have been a real embarrassment for the refs watching however. Here's what I imagine went through their heads; "Jeez, that was a such an obvious foul, but there's nothing we can do about it.. Celtic Ball - turnover. Ok fuck, we'll make up for it when they inbound (KGarnet-Casol) and save our face! ... whew!"

come on man your screenname is "ball is life" and you didn't know that? loool

They kept giving it to Ray Allen even though the whole game he was 0 for double digits. Ray Allen was a non-factor the whole game. He basically played some D, and ran up and down on the court. Bad game from both teams overall however.

They need to do something about the replay rule at the end of the game. The fact that Rondo blatantly fouled Odom which resulted in the Celtics getting the ball is not right. Hopefully the competition committee changes this rule to take into account fouls somehow
Overall the game 3 was there for whoever wanted to step up. Neither team played spectacular. Sadly, the Lakers just played better down the stretch

Don't expect this kind of performance to keep up.

If you can shit on every player of the opposing team and continuously make stupid statements and prognosis WHILE your team loses you probably deserve to be called out on it. If this is all in good fun than what isn't? Your boy is too annoying.

No argument with that, except don't say your boy. You sound like Michael Wilbon. And that is not cool.

First, I haven't felt the need to stalk anyone. Second, I'm pretty sure you're not from Boston, because I get much worse flak from Yankees friends.
rondo? more like wrongdo.
I thought that was pretty good, like Derek Cheater or Aroid.
Laker fan here. Glad Fisher finally started to push the team towards the right direction of pushing the ball and give yourself some good shots. Kobe was just pushing and pushing but his percentage was just terrible in field goal range.
As big as a laker fan I am, I just can't trash talk Rondo or Allen. Two superb players that definitely deserve to be in the finals, as for KG, I dont think so, but thats just my opinion.
btw, what in the world is Phil thinking putting in Luke Walton so early, actually, at all? he is just terrible. I would rather see Mbenga go up against KG or something.
One more thing, could the refs be any worse? Most of the calls for BOTH teams are just ridiculous.

I thought Luke Walton played pretty good defense in place of Ron Artest, who got two early fouls. If you are the Lakers, why would you keep Artest in the game after he picks up two quick fouls? Artest is usually a liability for the Lakers offense anyway, so there's nothing bad about putting in Walton as long as he plays defense.
Fisher plays hard at times, but I wouldn't call him dirty. That shot on Scola was because of a hard foul he gave... forget who on the other end. I mean, I'm sure he didn't plan to make it that hard on his first thought, but goddamn did he lay his ass out.

anyone who has watched a celtic, or supersonic game in the past ~~~ years knows that allen can miss 6 in a row and hit a three for the win, I've never lost faith in his ability to hit a shot, seems like last night he just couldnt get the ball that extra half centimeter past the rim, however.
other than that it was an excellent game. -_-'' people complain about awesome basketball now too?
