exactly my thoughts. i dont think the refs tried to fix it for either team, but they just made bad calls on both sides making the game just poor.

Here's the options: you call it really tight (lots of touch fouls, blocks called as fouls, etc.) or you call it really loose and let people hack at each other, pull on jerseys, grab arms. This is basically when Larry David complains about first come first serve vs appointments.

I've built up a pretty big tolerance to NBA refs, but tonight's game was just horrible. I can't even form any coherent sentences about what I just saw. Definitely in the pantheon of all-time worst officiated playoff games.

If i recall correctly that 5th foul on Kobe was highly debatable. I think the commentators said it shouldn't have even been called.
And if LA got that possession, instead of rondo getting that jump shot to put BOS up 5, LA could have gone to the other end and keep it tight instead of turning it into a two possession game in favor for Boston. So that play was was pretty much a game changer either way it went.

I think that was 4th, didn't he push Davis when he got 5th? That looked as a clear offensive foul to me.
You are really stretching it with a game changer, how about 2 blocks called as fouls? No one really complains since Cs won, LA wouldn't even be within 5 if those were called correctly.
