The only difference in choosing a harder difficulty is the challenge of harder monsters. EDIT: Practically someone can play level 1-99 on Casual and get all the best items, that is to say the same items a person could get on elite. After you finish the game on one difficulty you get the option 'New Game+' were you get more levels ect. and you can up the difficulty... for fun of course... and achievements i guess ^^ | ||
