McGrady had to miss 41 consecutive games for insurance to pay 80% of his salary for those games + more pro-rata for every game missed beyond that point. He just passed that mark, since he's been injured since February i think. By the way: insurance is not transferable, so if they were to trade him injured, the new team would not benefit from the existing insurance policy and would actually have to pay his full salary. This makes it unlikely he would be traded in my view. Still, he does have a huge expiring contract... so come next spring... who knows.

He has no lift compared to what he had before. I swear it almost looked like he could touch the top of the backboard in college.

Fast paced unselfish offense, and hard, tight, slightly dirty defense. Serious? Rondo is a fucking douchebag, lol! At least the guy plays quality basketball, and I like him for that. I agree that what happened with brad miller was kind of fucked up but I doubt it was too intentional... the guy was playing just his third? (i think) year in the league, and he was literally carrying the team in that series... not surprising that he got a little overexcited. edit: it's like calling all non Korean starcraft players "foreign" ... non USA guys are "euros" in my opinion, unless they're chinese... or Borat's Brother (HADDADI ???!?!!!!?!?!?!) and uh, my list was like, trying to say... Pierce is far down on a list of floppers that includes basically every european player + derek fisher. =P Pierce is a HUUUUGE flopper.

This is a flop And McGrady, you could either let a guy with a history of recurring injuries come back too early and risk him getting injured again or you could let him heal for the doctor recommended time. Athletes who get injured a lot shouldn't be allowed to make the decision if they're ready or not. "“If I’m saying I feel good and you know it’s supposed to take six months, instead of letting me at four months run … they should have held me back. Rather than saying, ‘Let’s let this guy do what he wants and use him to sell tickets’ - sometimes you have to protect players from themselves." -Gilbert Arenas

It's not even comparable. it's comparable. Pierce flops all over the place whenever he tries to set a pick... his feet aren't even set, but he just pushes off the ground and sells a foul by pretending he got hit very hard... and as I said not to mention how he carries the ball EVERY TIME he does that "step back" jumper.

Even little kids do it all the time, it's not a carry. If you can show me video of him doing it I'd believe you but so far I've never seen or even heard of him carrying on the step back.
