Sorry to break up the music talk, but I just got TH10.5 SWR and 12.3 UNL and ran into some problems with the English translation patch for 10.5. I updated it to the latest version 1.06 and the game itself runs fine in Japanese. But every time I try to open the English .exe of the game my computer thinks for a few seconds then nothing happens. The process doesn't even get hung up as I can move all the English version files around and even dump them in the Recycling Bin. I've been scouring the internet, but haven't found anyone with a similar problem. I've found people missing dat files, a dll file for gaming, problems installing the English patch, but haven't found anything about it simply not working. I've tried running it in XP mode, disabling my firewall and antivirus, reinstalling the game and English patch, running the program as an administrator, and restarting my computer.
TH12.3 works perfectly in English and I linked it to 10.5 for the full roster no problem. The only reason I want to play 10.5 is for the story mode. I guess I can look up the lines of dialogue in the Touhou wiki if I absolutely can't get the English version to work. The fighting games seem to have more lines than the shmups so it's kind of a pain.

Holy shit, I found my new epic song (that I can listen to over and over for several hours total before it starts getting boring).
I love abab, the arranger, he always adds his own little "improvised" funk/jazz section, and always sounds epic while keeping the feeling of the original song, though most of the time (not this time!) the sheet music is really confusing to play.

PCB lets one max out lives by stage 3, provided you started with 5. Too generous, along with the cherry shields. A player can bombspam the latter three on any difficulty for a 1cc if they can perfect the first 3 stages, even if it does sounds cheap.
Could be the lack of vsync in EoSD screwing you over, though. I'd reckon you 1cc'd PCB on Normal, considering your attempt on lunatic?

I'm still trying to get a perfect lunatic stage 6 eosd. Gotten to scarlet gensokyu about twenty times now and either choked or got bullshitted. I have over a thousand eternal meek attempts..of which like two hundred and fifty have been captures.
Also trying to perfect SA stage 5... Catwalk is owning me.
