It was on youtube, but the person took it down. I did listen to it earlier though. Alright, found a link in the the 4chan thread. Anyways, I'd say Fairies curiosity or w/e was my favourite, it was very catchy like the rest of the GFW soundtrack. Torifune Satellite had a that kickass intro which I hope some music circle works on, because after that it segues into a much more mellow melody. This is the same thing that was really common in TD's music. I can't say I like it that much. I mean I like the sharp intro, I like the melodic middle section, but together it feels like pulling the carpet from underneath your feet.

That's interesting, what is he purging? And why? is it only the original tracks? But is it cus he uploads them himself or...? I mean it's not like his games are copyrighted or anything... (?)

His album just came out, he wants people to purchase his album. Unlike the games, in this case there's a 1:1 correlation between songs and product.

Early September of 2010, my musical focus was mainly on generic metal, like Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, and the like. I also really enjoyed a lot of video game music, though, like from the Tales series and YS. I was getting bored of my selection at the time, and I wanted to find some awesome music to complement my existing library. I knew literally nothing about Touhou at the time (I didn't even know how to pronounce it!), except that they were some ultra-hard shmup series with good music. Intrigued, I headed over to the awesome music page on the Internet to see what Touhou stuff there was.

I was just browsing through the various comments, looking for something to catch my eye... something with a cool name. It's gone from the page now, and YouTube doesn't seem to have it uploaded anymore, but I found a song that fit the bill, by a composer known as Ezel Ash. Sounded like a boss name, right? The song was called "Higan Retour ~ Riverside View". I listened to it, decided it was pretty awesome, and searched for more songs by Ezel Ash. I eventually found this song:

I was hooked then. I searched for more Flowering Night, finding songs by xi-on and Dark PHOENiX, but that obviously wasn't enough. I wanted to find a website that could help me locate more groups like those, so I made a post.
The rest is history.
