I never wanted this "war". Kespa fans like to claim moral equivalency in the sense that both sides are opportunistically mud-slinging whenever the chance arises, but the very presence of this article is proof that the BW elitist side soured the Kespa switch and pissed people off in the first place. If we didn't have an outpouring of BW elitists gloating in the first tournament that featured Kespa vs eSF and pissing everyone off, all in the shadow of this article, then things wouldn't be this bad IMO.

Come on, why is this bad? This fight is what made this scene feels like real sports, this article is probably the biggest contributor to TL in many years.

It certainly has made Polt winning way more fun.

Talk to me about the elephant losing at an NA event to a college student and a grump Swede.

Just like biggest eSF prodigy Life losing to lower tier foreigners Sjow, shit happens.

Life, I remember him. Didn't he beat some top teir korean terran? I can't remember.

Oh yeah.

Sjow > Flash!!!!!!!

Yeah, Foreigners are so good. They can enjoy that rare win for their whole life.

Korean fanboys are good, at losing the worst.

What does "losing the worst" mean?

i hazard a guess at him meaning that korean fanboys are the most sore losers? but he worded it quite badly

Understandable, I mean, they win so much they probably forgot what losing felt like

actually, it is very relevant, because the article said even lesser kespa players would crush the competition.

what happened in the end was that the kespa players here got beaten up by foreigners and koreans that don't even really affiliate with eSF, or easier said: people that are not mainly competing in korea.

add to that that most of the kespa pros are not really better than the good eSF players.

It is very true that the portion about "any SPL player immediately dominating the competition" has been proven false. You'd have to be a moron to still be arguing that. What is true is that the top-tier of SPL crop are a level above the rest of the competition Perhaps I'm a homer but Innovation, Soulkey, Flash, Rain..I firmly believe they're a level above anyone in GSTL that isnt named Life, and Life's been struggling lately (but small sample size).

Too small of a sample size to say anything about Mvp, IMO.
All he's done is 2 games off of Innovation, which is pretty nice but...too small of a sample size.

add to that that most of the kespa pros are not really better than the good eSF players.

I hurd flash and sos lost just recently... huehuehuehuehue, kespa << foreigners < esf

But Life lost to Sjow! Therefore Foreigners > ESF > KESPA

Oh wait foreigners are shit...

Nani'wa is Korean after all.

He won this past MLG then, right, over all those middle/top tier koreans?
¯\_(シ)_/¯

actually, it is very relevant, because the article said even lesser kespa players would crush the competition.

what happened in the end was that the kespa players here got beaten up by foreigners and koreans that don't even really affiliate with eSF, or easier said: people that are not mainly competing in korea.

I still dont like the whole Kespa/esf references.
eSF refers to Startale, LG-IM, MVP, Prime, NsHoseo and (Axiom??)
Azubu is their only little thing, EG-TL is their own little thing and so is Quantic
Kespa is just a big governing body and nothing much more than that

Why cant we just call them GSTL/SPL players so we can include everyone :<...
