-MSL 서바이버 토너먼트 본선에 진출했다. ▶아직까지 MSL에 오른 것이 아니기 때문에 방심은 하지 않으려고 하고 있다. 오늘 대회를 치르면서 아직까지 모자란 부분이 많다는 것을 느꼈다. 본선에서는 이 부분을 확실하게 보강해서 반드시 MSL에 올라갈 수 있도록 하겠다.
-You advanced to the main MSL Survivor Tournament ▶Since I haven’t advanced to MSL yet, I’m trying not to relax. I felt that, playing in the tournament today, there were many aspects of the game that I needed to work on. In the main tournament, I will supplement these aspects and it will definitely let me move on to MSL.
-결승 1경기에서 1시간여 경기 끝에 무승부가 선언됐다. ▶1경기 블리츠 맵은 처음부터 장기전 시나리오를 생각했다. 그러나 1경기 때는 방어에서 허점이 있었다. 다시 경기를 했을 때도 같은 전략을 사용했다. 그 때는 대응을 잘 해서 승리할 수 있었다.
-In your finals 1st game, a draw was declared after 1 hour. ▶In the first game, Blitz, I was planning for a long game in the beginning. However, in the 1st game, there was a weakness in the defence. Even after playing again, I used the same strategy. That time, I responded well so I was able to win.
-저그전에서 소소한 컨트롤 실수가 보였다. ▶사실 가장 연습하지 못한 종족전이 저그전이다. 주로 메카닉을 연습하다가 바이오닉 컨트롤을 하게 되니 작은 실수들이 나왔던 것 같다. 그래도 고비라고 생각했던 저그전을 무사히 넘겨서 다행이었다.
-There were some small control mistakes in the Zerg game. ▶Actually, the match-up that I practiced the least was TvZ. The mistakes were probably due to controlling bionic units after practicing with mostly mechanic units. Still, it was a relief to get TvZ – the MU that I thought would be the most difficult – out of the way.
-입대 전에 비해 현재 기량은 어떤지. ▶ 프로토스전의 경우 입대 전보다 향상됐다고 생각한다. 입대 전에도 프로토스전에 많이 취약했기 때문에 기량 향상을 위해 많은 시간을 투자했다. 이에 비해 저그전은 입대 전에 비해 많이 부족한 상태다. 프로토스전을 많이 신경썼기 때문이지만 본선에 임할 때는 저그전 역시 보강하겠다.
-Compared to before you enlisted, how is your current skill level. ▶I believe my TvP has improved. My TvP was very weak even before enlistment, so I invested a lot of time to improve. In comparison, TvZ is lacking in comparison to pre-enlistment. It’s because I focused a lot on TvP but when practicing for the main tournament, I will also improve my TvZ.
-팬들에게 한 마디. ▶입대 후에도 계속 기다려주셨던 것 알고 있다. 감사드린다. 앞으로는 좋은 모습만 보여드릴 수 있도록 하겠다.

Interesting. He knows how many rounds he needs to plow through to get through to a StarLeague, so he focuses on TvP to deal with any unruly tosses along the way, knowing that his deteriorating yet strong TvZ can still own the Zergs he needs to own.
To be honest, Orion played really badly. His setups are really nice, but his execution just falls apart every single time. I don't know if it was a scare factor since he was against Boxer, but his unit control was really off this game.
why do you believe he hasn't been working so much with TvZ? i mean you have Savior slashing through terran's armory and his remarkable defiler use. i believe the reason why he's focusing his time and enegry on TvP and possibly TvT, is the thought of being in the Air Force that has to be displayed. there has to be some kind of reflection of his experiences in the Air Force to reflect his gaming pattern. also think about some other unbelievable micro he has developed to grool over with his stay at the air force.
the weird stuff to me is that, reading the interview, it gives me the impression he said he is better at TvP now than before joining army. To me it shows 1 of 2 things: he can practice as much as he wants now OR he didn't practice that much before joining army, like 2 hours a day, what should be +- the time he has to practice since he joined army.
