Now no matter how ahead he gets he still always kill himself edit: after looking at his recent games, his physical skill doesn't seem to be slacking, its the fact he never knows how to attack or transition or pick a build. The fact he's losing due to tactical mistakes, and not bad mechanical ability, is a good thing in some sense. It should be easy to improve if he focuses on finding his own mistakes, reviewing replays, asking fellow players for guidance etc. I think he's one of the players that really needs coaching/team support to teach him what to do. I agree with your last point here. Zest needs some helps as he seems lost to me. It doesn't seem like he is looking for helps though. He is former teammate of Stats who is doing well lately. Also, he is a good friend of herO who is also doing well. It is not like he lacks of Protoss friends to ask for some advices or practice.

It has been quite a long slump already. He started to lose his mojo since GSL 2016 Season 2 and continues to get worse and worse.

Players actually were MUCH better in S1 2016 than they were in S2. Dark, Stats, TY, Zest were all amazing then. In S2 only ByuN was good, everyone else really wasn't, which is why sOs made the finals and put on an awful display.

Needed a new hobby because his own favorite player isn't good enough to make Code S and preparing for an Overwatch transition. There was so much contrast between GSL and SSL. In GSL Dark went out in the Ro16 and looked kinda shoddy. In SSL he looked incredible. Just in general I remember thinking SSL was much better game wise as well.

Zest was unstoppable, other than some maps with TY and Maru playing the best lategames in their careers. Also people whereWAY better in S1 than S2. Stats Maru TY Dark and Zest were all open to grabbing tournaments. From S2-blizzcon ByuN and maybe Dark were the only threats. Cure pretty much doesn't play sc2 anymore. Good luck on the overwatch forums

Other Ro4 last season that didn't sign up: herO and Rogue Other notable players that didn't sign up: Dark, TY, Dear,... I think he's fine, he's not the only that didn't sign up for this season

He can't figure out how to play for himself. Maybe he just has no motivation without KT

Maybe he just has no motivation without KT His series vs Dark was cringeworthy. He looked clueless on what he was doing. I appreciate that he tries to mix it up because he was known to be very limited in term of builds (archon drop all day long vs Z or Colossals vs T) but he didn't even do any of those new builds according to how they should be played which ended up looking horrendous... He has practice partners, especially ex-KT players like Stats, Leenock, JJAKJI, TY, Losira and another players who he is friend with like herO as well. Stats, TY and herO in particular are doing very well in 2017. Literally, the entire ex-KT players are doing better than Zest. I think he lost his motivation and basically didn't ask for any helps.
