I'm not sure if him winning a map is the good or the bad news. Because his play really didn't deserve any map wins.

Don't blame TY. This is 100% on Zest playing like ass. TY even gifted him a map to avoid the sweep.

So it seems phoenix adept doesn't cut it anymore... Too bad I love phoenix compositions, I was so happy when I tuned in and saw them. And it's Zest's signature unit!

Wonder what happened in practice that made him believe he would do well with this composition. Anyway the moment he saw TY in his bracket he should have starting thinking about DTs :D

They are good build early/mid game but if you don't kill them or cripple them at least you need to transition. Not units you can max out on.

I'm not sad that he didn't make it to the ro8 but I'm pretty sad that his play was that atrocious. Hopefully a lot of it was just the jet lag and not his actual skill level right now

In his recent GSL win the signature against terran was like > Gateway - Cyber - Robotics/DT, and always early third. This is like a play to wanna win before the midgame turns to lategame. aLive was crushing TvT, but against Zest I think he would have lost.
