The thing is, as much as I want to see her play I'd hate for her to be over there and end up being in pain because then, not only is she in pain which is bad but she might not be able to play either. I could be wrong though as I don't know how severe the pain is and it might not be bad enough to keep her from playing but either way even a bit of pain is too much!

I have had this several times when flying, all in combination with ear infection/cold. I know, it hurts like your head is going to split right down the middle. It's pretty common though and not dangerous unless in extreme and very rare cases afaik. For me it only hurt during takeoff and landing, so long flights were no worse than short ones. What helps for me is everything that has menthol in it, preferably strong as hell throat pastilles/hot mint tea to help the sinuses open up and let that pressure out. Also nasal sprays, esp. those that come with menthol. Hope you're able to get rid of it soon, I know how much it sucks ![]()

Domestic flights within the US have been ten times worse than flying high altitude cross-atlantic, I think it's to do with the pressure cabins on big planes being able to smooth out the pressure changes a lot better or something. Anyway glgl with seeing the doctor!!
