That was painful to see, to be honest... Stomped really hard in every stage of the games. Looks like she is in a slump these last few months, specially vs Protoss, she had no chance both in GSL and WCS the moment she faced decent players and also lost to TIME in that ASUS qualifier, even playing pretty poorly in the chinese leagues :/ hope she gets better form for next WCS or whatever she plays, because getting a Blizzcon Seed is gonna be really hard now.

Blizzcon is all but impossible at this point. The only way to get there would be to win WCS Fall, which I just don’t see happening with the way she’s been playing for the last year. I hate to say it, but I don’t think she’ll ever contend for a championship again, but I’ve been wrong about her before.

Unless I'm mathing wrong there are scenarios where she doesn't have to win Montreal to make Blizzcon but she does have to do very very well it in no matter what.

there is enough time to get prepared for wcs fall and it is montreal too. we will see what will happen until then and dont get your hopes down. i still believe she is in a position where she is able to beat everyone. i really hope she will pratice now like never before. best success for your next tournament scarlett!!

I actually completely forgot WCS Winter gave out so many points for what was basically a glorified Challenger event. Still, with the way she's been playing I just don't see her making Blizzcon.

Tomorrow's results will be very important, Scarlett might "only" need to outperform one of Showtime, Heromarine(just by one step if they get eliminated in the ro8) or Elazer(two steps at least); ASUS ROG doesn't provide many points outside of top 4 but it would still be better for her if they don't perform.

tbh i just want see her play. if she gets to blizzcon i will be very happy, if not it is not the end of the world. there are many tournaments comming up, home story up 20 said they want to invite her and need, nation wars, gsl vs the world i hope she gets elected again, and also there is still fall. and who knows on how many chinese tournaments she will play too. so there wont be a lack of her, and that makes me happy.

I was worried that this might happen. Missing out on Spring Challenger and WCS Spring itself has left Scarlett at a solid 9th, just outside of Blizzcon range. Otherwise, I could definitely see her at 8th, if not higher. I think she can do it, but she will have to step up her game at Montreal.

yeah, i was very surpised that she wasnt in spring and would brought here a few points. i am curious about the reason but i doubt she will tell. if someone knows why, pls tell us, maybe she said it in someones stream. if not, it is fine. i dont need to know.

Wasn't that because of the GSL vs WCS participation conflict rules? I.e. she signed up for Code S season 1 so wasn't allowed to play in WCS spring. Afaik they've since changed that rule but it was in effect back then.

Hey guys, maybe it seems odd that I am just now starting to use this forum but I was usually more of a silent supporter. I really admire Scarlett for everything she's accomplished and just wanted to drop by and say hi. I am so happy that Scarlett has so many fans and supporters around the world to assist her <3 I know how hard it can be as a female player in competitive games with all the prejudice because I am trying to achieve that in League of Legends (which I know she isnt very much a fan of xD!). I really hope to see more of her games and maybe we'll get to be blessed by an upcoming stream soon (hopefully!!!). It sounds odd but when I remember back to 2018 , when she had her major win in IEM Pyeongchang, it really gave me so much hope and confidence in my own ability to play because representation truly makes a big difference for a lot of people out here. I also know that she isnt the biggest fan of being in the spotlight but I am so glad to have witnessed her journey so far and I hope she knows how much of an inspiration she is. All the love xo
