You're probably the only person to think that Zerg was weak during that time.

It's always hard to get started again after you take some time off, but we'll most likely get to see her at the MLG Invitational, and there's ASUS Winter, which I'm pretty sure she'll get an invite to.

She most probably needed to rest more after last year, which I totally understand. She delivered absolutely mind blowing performances, but being the best comes with the price of exhaustion.
I agree with dogabutila, Scarlett is such an amazing inspiration, I mean just watch her streams on twitch.tv. The amount of hours she puts into the game is what got her the mad skill, and she just inspires me to work harder and harder on my project. If you want to be absolutely outstanding and above all in whatever you do, then ask yourself do you put the same amount of effort like Scarlett puts into her practice - and if the answer is no then you simply don't deserve and won't get it, someone else will work harder and that's just a fact of life.

I'll be playing if bly loses his match vs Welmu. Didn't play in the IEM qualifier cuz I was lacking practice & hurt my arm twice last week
|
Would you be upset if I root for Welmu this once?
Edit: also, use transfuse on your arm.

So you're saying your opponents have a chance?

Glad to see you come back to Starcraft!
But... Zerg weak at the end of 2012? What were you smoking back then, I wonder?

Zerg seemed weak in certain situations and matchups in WoL before the Queen upgrade change, I think from then on Zerg players got more confident in holding off early pressures and do proper macro into BL and Infestors... That's how I remember it anyway, but I could be completely wrong in my timelines.

It's a shame sonic withdrew, since she's played and beaten him before in a qualifier. Scarlett playing against yet another unknown Protoss worries me a little.

It's always a coinflip against cheesy ladder protosses when you don't know their style. She should be able to beat him like a rented mule if it turns into any kind of macro game, but there's always a risk.
Oh, well, could be a lot worse. She could have gotten Jim or someone like that. I'm just happy she didn't have to play Bomber yet, that is supposed to be the final of the challenger league.

She was safe from Jim because she couldn't play someone that was already in challenger, but yeah I'm glad she dodged players like Bomber and check for now
