As for Nani's comment on Scarlett being too greedy, I think he's right but I don't know if I can blame her. In a scenario where zerg has roaches or mass spine to defend the four gate zealot pressure, can't protoss just back off without committing zealots and all in off of two bases versus a zerg with a weaker economy? Seems pretty #Dirty to a mere gold leaguer such as I.

More spines, better scouting, you can do a bunch of little things to swing it in your favor. I don't know who scarlett practices protoss against, but she just didn't seem prepared for naniwa today which sucks. Acer needs to get a protoss player, that'd probably really help.

Was fun games to watch. I really hope it serves as a motivation for you Scarlett. Your macro is incredible, it's just this micro/adaptation part that needs to be practiced. As one of the hardest working players in the league you can do that

In ZvZ, early pool and baneling nest with spine crawler will protect against most cheeses or early aggression. Against Terran, two base tech with queens and spine will do the same. But against Protoss, every cheese has a *very specific* counter. As such, you can't do blind builds and hope that it's safe enough no matter what your opponent does. It's more about scouting your opponent, or at least having an accurate game sense, and then employing the counter specific to your opponent's build. This is what makes Jaedong such an amazing player, and what turned it around for him in ZvP. Anyhoo, great fight against Naniwa, Scarlett, and hope to see you soon in the new year! Pls try and qualify for IEM Cologne! :D
