HyuN is a former BW player who played for MBCGame Hero before switching over to SC2 in November 2011. Though a solid A-teamer, he rarely reached success as he was overshadowed by many others during his time in BW. However, he gained a little infamy by snapping Flash's 12 game TvZ streak. When he first came over to SC2 he stated that he would qualify for the first Code A of 2012, attaining Masters league within one month of playing. He would successfully do this by defeating Weekend in the 2012 GSL Season 1 preliminaries. He would then go on to lose to TaeJa in the Ro48 and fall down to Code B. HyuN was able to qualify for Code A a second time where he defeated FXOChoya in the preliminaries to go back up to Code A for Season 3 of the 2012 GSL.
Since mid-2012, HyuN has really come into his own as one of the top Zergs in Korea. He participated in a near uncountable amount of online tournaments and showed great potential in all of them, displaying his incredible mechanics, map awareness and engagement skill. In Season 3 he almost made Code S but lost to Genius in the Ro24 and coming third in his U/D groups. HyuN managed to qualify for Code S Season 5 when he won his U/D group in dominating fashion.
During the attempts at a GSL Code S spot, HyuN rose to infamy as the King of Fighters by taking out Squirtle 5-3 at the Protoss player's peak in IPL Fight Club. HyuN would play through week after week of tough opponents like GuMiho, PartinG, Tear, ByuN and in particular, Life, who was the undisputed best Zerg. This 14 week streak became immortalized in StarCraft 2 history as perhaps the greatest run in any King of the Hill tournament, and is still considered one of the greatest and memorable accomplishments in the game.
HyuN started slowly in Season 5 and just managed to get out of his Ro32 group. He progressed through the Ro16, and went on to face the freshly minted runner-up to WCS 2012 Creator, and defeated him 3-1. INoVation was next on HyuN's list, as HyuN disposed of him 3-1 handily. The stage was set in Las Vegas within IPL4 against Sniper, but ended up ultimately losing 3-4 in a hotly contested series. Simultaneously, HyuN would drop in the Ro16 against DRG in IPL4 and just a week later lost to SortOf in a massive upset in NASL Season 4 despite dominating the group stages. Despite all this, HyuN played on, but never reached the level of play he showed before, losing in the Ro32 twice in a row in GSL. After the dissolution of TSL, HyuN joined Quantic Gaming, where HyuN began his resurgence.
Perhaps HyuN realized Korea was not his ideal environment, or saw how the foreign scene was better pickings, HyuN traveled frequently to DreamHack in an attempt to regain his lost form. In 2013, HyuN came into HotS ready to play, reaching the Ro8 in Stockholm but lost in the Ro8. Next in DreamHack Summer, he lost to StarDust, who became the eventual champion. As HyuN attempted his second try at a tournament win in 2013, he would cruise through MLG Anaheim easily and nearly seal the win against Polt, but a Hellion run-by sealed his chances at winning the desired championship in the final match. Within a month in Valencia, Spain, HyuN decided to stop being a Kong and not become the first Triple Crown Kong. His numerous attempts at DreamHack often ended in a loss in the Ro8, but this time HyuN went to the finals dispatching LucifroN 2-0 in the Ro16 and defeating ZvZ extraordinaire Jaedong 3-1 in the finals, securing himself his first championship.
After it was revealed that Quantic's manager Simon had not given HyuN his $23,000 in prize earnings, including his victory in DreamHack amongst other dubious and corrupt deeds, the possibility of retirement loomed over his head. HyuN's good friends, Golden, TaeJa, San and others all organized a series of showmatches to rally the community to HyuN's aid, raising enough to keep HyuN in the game for a year more before HyuN's military service. ROCCAT would extend their help with him being part of Team ROCCAT. HyuN would take second place in the SeatStory Cup against Snute who continues to have his number.
HyuN's first WCS America 2014 started off without much fanfare, defeating Revival and favorite ByuL in some tight ZvZs. He would encounter puCK, his foreign Protoss rival who defeated him once more, and came back to defeat Heart and puCK in a rematch to reach the Ro8. Here HyuN would face TaeJa, a player with a remarkable record against him and the heavy favorite. HyuN would make the miracle win in a series involving HyuN trademark Roaches and his superb Muta/Ling/Bane. HyuN would easily bulldoze Alicia to face Oz in the finals. After a fairly strange series involving proxy Hatcheries, mass Zerg air and Cannon rushes, HyuN would defeat his Protoss opponent 4-2 to take his second championship, and secure his Blizzcon spot.
Currently in Korea competing in SSL primarily. HyuN has taken intensive practice regimes in the CJ house and as of right now in Axiom.
Sign me up! Been patiently waiting for this elephant to go on a stampede.... it's coming boys! I honestly believe that soon he can even surpass his teamate Symbol!
HyuN is gradually becoming a Code S worthy player, beating Maru 2-0 (who is Code S) and losing to Polt 2-1. He can definitely make a good impression on Code S if he can beat Genius (which he definitely can).

Major is living in Korea currently, at the GOM house I'm pretty sure. Hyun has top 2 macro mechanics, its a shame he can't convert that into more wins (bar his crazy online cup records of course)

IIRC the way it worked was higher seed got their server first game, and then they alternated each game after that. That would mean that Hyun both lost and won on KR (and same with Major both winning/losing on NA)

I would be surprised to not see HyuN dominate this group, no one is really a scary player other than NaNiwa or Puzzle, but HyuN beat NaNiwa before, and Puzzle is appearing quite weak recently.
HyuN tops the group for a couple of reasons. 1. Its online and HyuN online is just godlike :D 2.He has sick allround MU and the best players are Puma who HyuN beats Naniwa has crap PvZ and Puzzle isnt looking so solid :D 3. Its MFing HyuN in an online tourney

I hear in Korea that Hyun and Life a arguable better then DangRaeGu just have less success. I've downloaded some when he qualified for TSL4 and i couldn't believe it but his apm average is 450-600 and sparks as high as 1500.
Yes I still can't believe he lost to Major in the TSL (no offense to Major fans) considering how well he handled him in the IPL FC a week or two later. I feel if he took out major he could have gone deep in that tournament

Sign me up! When a player is so good at a KotH tournament that the organizers are literally running out of players to send at him, you know he's a monster. Pretty much the only Terran left that can challenge him is MVP, and he has GSL to worry about. If he can do a number on the Protosses too, I expect a couple of Code S championships for him in the very near future.

I'm still so impressed that this guy set out with such concise goals and met them. I think the only one he's not reached so far is getting into Code S, but he's so close and he'll at least be in Code A next season. It's a shame that GSL isn't in bo9 like the fight club, otherwise he'd probably be pretty far into it by now.
I expect HyuN to make it out of this group; MMA is no longer a TvZ god, BBoong is the weakest link in the group, and HyuN can beat Hack and JYP. Please make it to Code S at least.

Joshy denied it was a FC, but it could have been said to not spoiler, though every other match looks like a win for HyuN in a Bo9, unless the games are played later.
Welp, looks like HyuN's reign of terror is ending soon I guess he could take out a few games, but Life is a ZvZ master and could easily take out HyuN. Last time they met, Life won 3-1, and I doubt HyuN's ZvZ had improved that much over the last few weeks. Hope that HyuN can continue, but Life is an absolute monster who is HyuN's greatest challenge.

Too be honest, I really have no idea whether it even is FC at all. Possibly just a coincidence and that HyuN was testing map builds around to train against Life. We can only wait until Monday to really see.

There is a reason why spoilers exist, but next time I'll try to release the info later.
I think this is a manageable group, all the players are Terrans and Protosses who HyuN excels against. HyuN beat GuMiho 5-3 in IPL FC, YoDa 2-0 in Code A, and HyuN's ZvP is scary good. Rain has excellent PvZ though, he just 4-1'd DRG, but HyuN is just as good, if not better at the MU.

HyuN is now 6-0 (12-3) in NASL. A bit disappointing to see the loss (SeleCT 2 Rax ftw), but HyuN still maintains the top position in his group. Basically locked for Ro16, and hopefully continues the streak.

Now if HyuN can get his ZvT on track in Korea, he has a really good chance (around 70% imo) to advance first in his group. MKP and Hack are really not strong ZvT players, and HyuN can match YoDa if he plays at his best. As long as he has his nerves in control, this is the best group for HyuN.

YoDa is kind of like Bomber or maybe Polt even... You just don't know who is going to show up that day. He has amazing potential and on hos best day beat any one imo. It's just so rare that he shows up with that brilliance. Always have somewhat worry about YoDa

Our maps do tend to favor Zerg I feel (Daybreak/Whirlwind/Abyssal/Metropolis, Ohana/CK/Entombed being less prominent).
Hyun better win. I refuse to believe he won't. Although Ryung has been playing solid TvZ lately...
HyuN's IPL road is doable, all he has is aLive (who despite his 3-5 record against HyuN still has weaknesses in TvZ) and Scarlett/DRG, he can make it to Ro8 and fight his way I think.

As much as the GSL runner-up curse is applicable, I think HyuN can avoid it. He has the opportunity to practice often with TSL and in other tournaments, maintains strong mechanics, and I think he will take this GSL as a learning experience rather than a bad experience. Plus, Sniper might be the Zerg jjakji/Seed, so that is sweet revenge :p I know HyuN can return to form, there is NASL and next GSL seasons to do well, and HoTS should be his time to shine.
HyuN still has a great chance at a championship in NASL, has to go through SortOf and viOLet/DeMusliM. SortOf shouldn't be too challenging if HyuN uses the ZvZ he had in GSL, though viOLet is a challenge. I expect an all TSL finals though, so you can pull through HyuN!

Good job HyuN! I knew he could take it, and defeating Stephano and Scarlett is no easy feat.
A nice 10-3 record overall, only dropping a game to Seed, LucifroN and Stephano, and taking out Scarlett 3-0. Plus, adds another 3000 Euro in his pocket. I think we might see the return of HyuN in Euro online cups, now that Fight Club is over, and with some GSL downtime, Euro cups might be an option for some ZvZ practice and easy money.
HyuN is playing in the GGA Finals Event on Dec 19th, and it should be another opportunity for HyuN to get some online money. Not exactly the most intimidating line-up as well, so HyuN has a good shot here.

Nerchio is slumping pretty hard recently, losing to some players he would never have in the past. Though lag is a factor, since Nerchio is looking weak, HyuN's biggest rival is out of the picture, and no one else in the line-up beyond Snute really challenges HyuN. Oh, also, its apparently the November ZOTAC Monthly, but played in January.
Hope HyuN finds a good team, I want to see more of him. Thinking a Korean team because HyuN doesn't look like the guy who would travel to another country, potentially KeSPA because of his history as a BW player. Maybe a stable eSF team will pick him up, though I will miss him wearing the TSL colors

Super good group for HyuN, I doubt he will be troubled much in this group. HyuN's ZvZ has been really strong recently, crushing everyone in Euro cups, and he beat B4 horribly in IPL5. YoDa has yet to sell me as a consistent player, and HyuN has strong ZvT and defeated YoDa in the past. Squirtle isn't as strong as before, and HyuN's ZvP has always been his most confident match-up, so this should be no problem as well. Expecting an easy HyuN 4-0, or 4-1 if things don't go as well as they could.

HyuN is playing in the International qualifiers right now. He just beat nrssonic, Monster 2-0 (takes revenge for last time) and Sound 2-0. Facing cYong next, and if he defeats him, Pet.
Hopefully HyuN makes it to another Ro16, his group isn't the most difficult, and he is still playing at a consistent level of play compared to the other three. HyuN 화이팅(hwaiting)!

This pretty much sums up all my thoughts on the potential of HyuN joining the merger team.
I'd love to see him go back to a Kespa team now and kick ass in PL but I'm not sure if he wants to go back to that kind of strict environment? If he wanted to I'm sure most of the Kespa teams would put in a bid on him for some good cash.

Well, I assume they gave him what he wants in terms of salary and travel, which might be better than what he got at TSL to begin with, but I agree with you completely.
HyuN finally breaks into the Ro4 in a IPL6 qualifier! Faces PuMa next, who shouldn't be too much of a challenge in his current form, and neither aLive or Revival are really threatening HyuN today. Also, he defeats Stephano again, currently undefeated against him in series (I think).
Hyun may not be the very best player in the world, but he is undoubtedly the greatest tyrant there is across the online realms. Who would've expected that, when the drunken Zerg switched to sc2? He's like the second Nestea in that regard.

Exactly this! I really, really think HyuN will shine in HotS! Really can't wait to see what he can do with Vipers and swarmhosts and better mutas etc.
ZvT was alwasy my worst MU, but watching you in IPL Fightclub got me some new ideas. 52/52 Roach max out early aggression ect. Now ZvT is my strongest MU and today i received this:

He started off really well earlier in the day. Seems to struggle in ZvT but dominates ZvZ and ZvP with ease from what I've seen(Haven't been able to watch that many of his games today)

Isn't that following the trend of Terran being a bit more powerful in HotS against Zerg recently? At least HyuN is doing well in two match-ups. Maybe once he gets a feel of ZvT, he will improve.

It's fun watching HyuN play around with HotS and trying out these weird Nydus all-ins or use Roach/Hydra/Viper to experiment with the game. I still do see some things he could be ironing out in his compositions or his tendency to go for some weird builds, but I'm liking it so far. As long as he sticks to his strengths in the early and mid-game, and works on his late-game control, I think HyuN will continue to improve for HotS.

Super late game he was playing around with Hydra/Ultra/Viper... it was insanely strong and his Viper control is amazing! Also his Mass Swarm Host 2 base all in vs Toss is sooo funny to watch. Only person I've seen beat it was White Ra with a hidden expo that he re called his whole army to so he could counter and go for the base trade lol
I see only good things for HyuN in HotS! I also love that he has been streaming like every dayfor like 8+ hours

I don't think anyone really wants to see more WoL, but considering the servers will be down for that day, there really is no other option. There is also the issue of consistency, because Creator vs Polt was HotS, but they suddenly change to WoL. I think it would have been better if they just made this a showmatch, rather than a IPL FC because it causes too many problems.
HyuN defeats Ryung 3-2 in the RSL. Faces VortiX next, which should be an entertaining and even series because both players are really strong ZvZ'ers with interesting playstyles.

Fight Club is continuing with Polt in HotS online. The Heavyweight Championship was intended to be a showmatch originally, but because Polt happened to be the FC champion at the time, IPL decided to change the title a bit. So no worries, IPL FC is still there, and HyuN can take the challenge whenever he is invited.

HyuN did pretty well in the Acer Teamstory Cup qualifiers. He almost did an all-kill against coL, and pulled off the ace match against iG. Maybe he could have played a bit better by not losing to Jim and TheStC, but he was the workhorse of Quantic.
HyuN crushed through LucifroN, going to the finals of the RSL S4 tournament. Faces the winner of MMA vs LoWeLy, who goes on to face LucifroN. Judging from the dominance of HyuN, I think this is his tournament to win.
This is the group of death imo, all Ro4 capable players on any day. Still, I give the advantage to HyuN because he has two match-ups he does well at (ZvT) and a player he can defeat on a good day (Rain). I just hope he doesn't screw up like last time, because this one is a harder group that before.
HyuN sweeps LucifroN 4-0 in the RSL S4 finals, and takes the crown as the winner of the final WoL tournament. HyuN is nearly unstoppable in online tournaments really.

HyuN wins the ZOTAC Cup February Monthly finals. He defeated Arthur 2-1 and Happy (Russian one) 3-2, though the games against Happy were so sloppy. Nice to see HyuN win, but I wish it could have been more convincing.
Bah, HyuN struggled a lot against LucifroN's TvZ, and his game against VortiX was just weird. Maybe ATC just doesn't fit him well. I'm assuming HyuN was focused on practicing against INoVation and GuMiho's styles, but you would expect him to play a bit better than the sloppy play he demonstrated.

I'm confident HyuN can progress from this group. HyuN said he was preparing intensively against INoVation and GuMiho, and ZvT has always been his solid match-up. INoVation is a tricky one because of how solid he is, but HyuN can pull the upset at his best. Rain is damn good, but HyuN's ZvP is terrifyingly good at times. Predicting HyuN to advance 5-3, but possibly 4-1 if he can win against GuMiho without any losses and drops a game to INoVation.
HyuN just seems lost in HotS recently, especially ZvT. Maybe losing TSL was a bigger blow than expected, or maybe HotS simply doesn't fit HyuN's style.

At least HyuN reverse all-kills Creator in a Bo7 despite looking completely lost in the first few games. He adapted well and read the situations superbly.

HyuN defeats SaSe 2-0 in the Ro16 and goes on to face HerO in the Ro8. As long as HyuN's momentum in DreamHack doesn't stop here, HyuN has an excellent chance of reaching the Ro4.
Sign me up! HyuN is my favorite player. While is skill in WOL was unmatched in the final stages HOTS has not been kind to him. I hope that he brings his skill where he wants it to be. He is amazing and I hope Quantic shows him the kindness and respect that TSL gave him. I think the lack of highquality practice partners on Quantic is really hurting him. He was playing in Code S this season... so no, he won't be qualifying for WCS NA this time, and next season he has to go through challenger, afaik.

It's Hyun. One day he can look absolutely unbeatable, he absolutely demolished Naniwa in the two games he won against him at Dreamhack (and I would argue that Naniwa is better than Puck), the next day he's making mass roaches after the 20th minute mark.
I wouldn't worry too much, but he needs to get back to the consistensy level he had in WoL. I personally think that he struggles a little bit with a new game; he has always been a very mechanical player more so than a meta-gamer and a smart player.

Well, he had to choose one or the other, he chose NA. Now he can only try to qualify for NA Challenger next season, he can't play in GSL anymore until next year, if he decides to change his region back to Korea again.

Game 1 on Whirlwind: HyuN goes 10 Pool with Drone pull against a 15 CC (I think) and wins easily Game 2 on Daybreak: HyuN opened with a Roach/Ling Nydus build which didn't do much, and Kas lets the Nydus Worm live, which gives HyuN the opportunity to spread creep on Kas's side. Standard macro game with HyuN going for heavy Ling/Bane/Roach with a few Mutas, and once Kas pushes, HyuN makes a huge counterattack on the third. Base-trade somewhat happens, though HyuN gets right into Kas's main and camps the production while HyuN defends his main. HyuN wins with a big flood of Ling/Bane. Game 3 on Akilon Wastes: HyuN takes early third with Roach support and pushes with Roach/Bane/Speedling and takes out the two Engineering Bays researching 2/2. HyuN continues to pressure Kas while taking a fourth and droning like crazy. Kas makes a push with Marine/Tank, but HyuN gets too good of an angle with Ling/Bane and uses burrowed Infestors to distract the Siege Tanks with ITs. HyuN safely transitions into Ultra/BL and wins decisively.
Hyun played a couple of hilarious cross-race custom games against MMA on stream today.
1st game MMA opens 15 Hatch, Hyun goes triple 8 proxy reaper, shows great micro, keeps killing drones and lings never overextending with his reapers, expands behind it and finishes with a hellion/marauder/reaper timing, all the while cackling maniacally from beginning to end and taunting MMA in chat.
2nd game he opens reapers again but this time an economic 3 cc build. Makes only 2 reapers, keeps them alive the whole time while macroing up, scouting and picking up a ling or two or a drone here and there, even scouts the spire MMA tries to hide in a corner of his base. Goes into a long macro game where Hyun goes bio/mine, MMA goes Muta/Ling into Ultras then Broodlords. Hyun plays really abusive with the drops all game, keeps killing MMA's 4th. When the final push comes, MMA pauses the game and begs him for 30 more seconds, they agree to 15, Hyun retreats, comes a bit later and rolls over MMA's army. It wasn't even close.
He was laughing his ass off the whole time. Must have felt good to get revenge with all the problems he has had in ZvT lately. :p
Damn, HyuN may be back to struggling with ZvT again. He lost to Dayshi 2-0 and TOP of all people 2-0 again. I just wish HyuN was more consistently lately.

It really pained me to watch this matches... I only caught the last bit of the first match vs Dayshi then when he got his chance for redemption I wanted him to win soo bad.. Didn't care about Reverse all kill.. Just wanted him to get revenge on Dayshi T.T

Woot, HyuN all-kills the European team of Dayshi, HasuObs, SortOf and Adelscott in the Ritmix RSL gNations tournament. Elevates the Korean team to the finals to face the winner of Europe vs CIS.
Two good things today, HyuN wins the ZOTAC March Monthly, and replaces TOP in the Numericable M-House Cup 2 tournament. We will be seeing HyuN play in the Millenium house in France.

HyuN's HSC group is pretty competitive, with Dayshi, MaNa and GoOdy. Dayshi and MaNa have proven they can beat HyuN consistently, especially MaNa, so HyuN has to really prepare for these two. GoOdy isn't as accomplished, but he knows Mech well enough to challenge HyuN.
And for DreamHack, HyuN sweeps his first group stage 6-0 and advances to group stage #2.

That is a group that is set up for heart break By all means HyuN should advance, but it's like they picked all the people that could pull off an upset against him!

Gumiho is a tough opponent, though he hasn't been looking unbeatable by any means this tournament so far he got 2-0'd by Jaedong and I think HyuN's ZvT is better then Jaedongs so hopefully he can pull through!

StarDust does scare me quite a bit.. He has a strong PvZ and has been pulling off upsets left and right. The only good thing maybe that HyuN has played him before and could watch him play a PvZ the round before to know his style and prepare properly for it.
Darn, lost to StarDust 1-2, and to Life 2-0 in the consolation bracket. Still, HyuN played well in Sweden, though Ro4 evades him once more. At least he seems in much better shape for HSC than the others in his group, so I think he will do very well in TaKe's house.
HyuN Smashed his first group at HSC!! 2-0 4-0 map score. Next group stage will be day after tomorrow. Also might be getting a HyuN, Violet, Dragon cast at some time today!

That is an excellent group for HyuN! Playing Hasu first too which is great, HyuN's ZvP is really strong and I think even matches up like perfectly against Hasu's very passive style of play I expect HyuN to beat Hasu and honestly I think he can even clinch first, Violet is good but far from unbeatable it should be a fairly even ZvZ. I agree even if he falls to Violet in the winner's match he should by all rights advance from this group(Unless he pulls a Stephano and gets absolutely hammered tonight and is super hung over!)
Also it's not out of the realm of possibility that Thorzain upsets Violet in the first match seeing as Violet lost 2-0 to Bunny in their group! That would be perfect for HyuN meeting Thorzain in the winners match!

Thought it was a fairly disappointing Ro4, HyuN tried his best against some of Europe's best ZvZ'ers, and there is no real shame in that. Next up for HyuN is MLG Anaheim, which should be a great opportunity for a win because the players aren't particularly fearsome compared to him. If he can continue his momentum from HSC and maybe improve his ZvZ a tad bit, I can see him being a royal roader for MLG.
Unless you think the likes of YugiOh, GoSuBubbles, Sound, Golden, iNcontroL, Illusion, drewbie, Apocalypse, CatZ, Dragon, Heart and mOOnGLaDe can beat HyuN, I think he has a fairly easy path to the Ro8 in MLG.

Yugioh sound and Golden are the only ones that are close to beign a threat. HyuN hasn't seemed super solid in ZvZ as of late so Golden and Yugioh could potentially pull off an upset and well Sound likes hellbats a couple of split secend bad reactions and it can be all over vs him.
Even with all of that I think HyuN should fairly easily steam roll his way to ro8 against opponents like that!
Interestingly enough, soO is in HyuN's bracket, which is a major oversight on my part, and as for his real bracket, only YugiOh and iNcontroL could directly face him. Expecting HyuN to reach the finals fairly easily, but soO is going to be a challenge.
With HyuN's 2-1 advantage, I think he has a good shot at reaching his first finals at a LAN since GSL S5. If HyuN just plays safe against HerO's erratic PvZ tactics, he should be able to secure victory. As long as I can see a Polt vs HyuN finals, I am pleased with whatever HyuN's results are in the matches.

HyuN defeated Arthur 2-1 and SSanaEE 2-0 to face Center in the Ro8. If he defeats Center, he goes on to face the winner of SeleCT/Tassadar and XiGua/PiG. HyuN looking to make a strong impression on the qualifiers, I don't really see anyone capable of defeating him in his bracket.
HyuN defeats Center 2-1 and goes on to face SeleCT, who defeated XiGua 2-0 in the Ro8. HyuN has to be careful around SeleCT. Though he is mechanically superior, his Roach/Bane style is going to struggle against such a drop-heavy play that SeleCT favors. HyuN needs a good drop defense to defeat SeleCT, and stop getting supply blocked.
I really like HyuN's style actually, but he's becoming way too predictable with it. He needs to mix it up with other styles, notably one that can punish medivacs harder. ( he's current one is weak to it, even with all the adjustements he's been making like the spore coverage or the queen number )

HyuN's predictability is how Polt beat him 3-1, usually in a lop-sided manner. If HyuN had changed up his compositions beyond Roach/Ling/Bane into Infestors or Hydras, I imagine he would be having better results against Polt. It may work against other Terran pros, but a smart player like Polt will dissect his compositions and builds to break apart HyuN. He has great ideas, HyuN can't really back them up because his macro falters at times, particularly his supply blocks. It was frustrating seeing HyuN lose because he was capable of winning against Polt, but all these major errors in composition and supply blocks are really unproductive. Hope he learns from these games to actually mix up his ZvT, because at this rate, every Terran and their mother is going to counter HyuN.

His ZvZ has been historically strong but at HSC it kind of failed him pretty hard, but that was just one Tourny I agree he has the better ZvZ then Symbol so lets hope he can cruise right through to ro8
ATC started off fairly bad, with a loss to puCK which isn't very encouraging. Then he defeated CatZ, Nathanias and got revenge on puCK which is nice. Maybe Quantic should be more careful with HyuN in ATC because he gets sniped too easily by Protosses.
HyuN's next RSL Ro8 opponent is LucifroN, which is sure to be a fun Bo5 series. HyuN has been looking in great shape recently while the same could be said of LucifroN. The big difference will be the Hellbat nerfs and Banshee buffs and how much they will alter the games. I'm confident HyuN can close out 3-1 against LucifroN, as long as he doesn't get predictable with Roach/Ling/Bane and mixes up his compositions.
HyuN will be participating in DreamHack Valencia in a few weeks, so look forward to HyuN playing in Europe again. The player pool isn't much of a challenge compared to the previous ones, with only Jaedong, LucifroN and StarDust capable of taking games off of HyuN. Hopefully we don't see HyuN turn into the Triple Crown of Kongs this time, and him finally winning a championship and more WCS points. If he manages to improve his ZvT compositions and build Overlords frequently, I think we will see HyuN win.
Also will be facing Team Liquid in ATC within a few hours, and it would be great if HyuN could save Quantic from elimination, though Snute is always there to snipe him
Meh, a fairly poor result by HyuN standards. He defeated Snute in a tense game, but losing twice to TaeJa in some winnable games is depressing. HyuN needs to get his ZvT back in shape for RSL against LucifroN and for Valencia.
HyuN played in the IEM Shanghai qualifiers for Korea and made it to the second round. Defeated Billowy 2-1, SuperNova 2-1 and BboongBboong 2-0 to further advance. The second round is doable for HyuN as long as he avoids INoVation and Mvp to an extent. HyuN can take out everyone else barring the two Terrans, so I hope to see him take it seriously and qualify for another tournament.

with current 9 minute hive style i dont think you can snipe hyun . he just sits on roach hydra forever and without a max army protoss will die vs it with good surround . I'm still waiting a protoss who can straight up beat that style in a bo3 . hyun fighting
HyuN was a ZvZ monster in the IEM Shanghai Korean qualifiers today, but just barely fell short of qualifying and earning the free trip. He defeated KangHo 2-1 and lost to MyuNgSiK 1-2 and dropped to the lower bracket. He made a surge by defeating Curious 2-1, Solar 2-0, RorO 2-1 and San 2-1, but lost to MyuNgSiK's weird Phoenix builds. HyuN played pretty darn well, but it was disappointing when he had to fail a qualifier due to a build :/
Ah well, knowing Quantic I suspect they will send HyuN to IEM Shanghai anyways and participate in the open bracket.

Hyun's Dominance continues! Takes out Lucifrom 2-0! So far HyuN has only lost 2 maps this entire tournament and is completely undefeated in actually series. He seems pretty confident in his ZvZ so he should be able to beat Goswser or Yugioh and hopefully make it to the finals!!!

Looks like the next victim on HyuN's way to a major title is Goswser! I didn't see the match between goswser and Yugioh but if he 2-0'd Yugioh his ZvZ could potentially be a threat, though HyuN is the clear cut favourite still but with ZvZ you never really know what the fuck can happen! If HyuN stays calm he should by all rights take a convincing victory though!~

Hyun pretty well steam rolled Lucifron in the first game with a really strong roch bane ling attack. Second game was a bit trickier though, he tried a really early roach rush attack that didn't do really any significant damage but droned up got a third got some muta's and attacked multiple times with tons of lings and blings until he could finally crack Lucifron.
Kinda a bastardized summary of game two as I can't really remember all the details too clearly but it was quite tense for a while especially when Luci starting dropping before the muta's where out! But considering how far behind HyuN was after the roach rush it's a pretty convincing win imo.

I don't know which is scarier final opponent.. Jaedong or Stardust... Jaedong's ZvZ is insane but Stardust's PvZ is brutal with some wicked all ins and timings that mixed with HyuN not doing the best in ZvP makes me think he is better off facing Jaedong. Either way it's not gonna be easy anymore that's for sure!
That being said, I still have complete trust in HyuN! He WILL take his first championship!
Interesting to note that HyuN is 17th in WCS points globally and only 50 points behind DIMAGA who is 16th. If HyuN can perform well in a few other tournaments and WCS NA, it is likely he will participate in the WCS season 3 finals at this rate despite barely playing in actual WCS region-locked events.
And if anyone can see, I would very much appreciate it if you guys could suggest me some great HyuN games in BW or SC2 for me to compile in a list. Just off the top of my head, I can think of HyuN vs Flash in BW, some games in Fight Club, HyuN vs Sniper game 7, HyuN vs HerO in MLG game 3 and a few others.

It's incredible how Hyun got almost all his WCS point from foreign tournaments. He's the only one that has gotten points on every single foreign on the list.
Bomber vs HyuN will be played tomorrow according to the RSL organizer. With HyuN's downtime in IEM, he should get some good practice against a top-class player like Bomber for his series against Polt. Games should favor HyuN because his ZvT looks great while Bomber has never been a fantastic TvZ'er, and there should be no issue with latency or jet-lag. Predicting a 3-1 for HyuN.

I don't think it's the start of a slump, HerO is very good at PvZ.. Though I do agree he needs to slow down on tournaments or else he could pull a MC!!

I was really impressed by HyuNs play against Polt. I just love the heavy lair style with massive ling/bane/roach attacks again and again. And you gotta have sick macro to pull it off as well as he did. Just came to say that

Now I'm more confident in HyuN's macro play, but puCK has always been a tricky one to predict because of his builds which catch even the best Koreans off-guard. Hope he is prepared to face against some non-standard styles, but if he knows his style, HyuN should win.

The way HyuN playa normally though almost counters puCK, with his lair tech heavy aggression he should have enough units out to beat out any tricky or super aggressive pushes etc.
HyuN is playing Asus rog right now he is up 2-1 against Welmu on Zoia's stream. Apparently he made a huge come back in the previous series and now if he wins this series he will advance first in his group putting him in a hopefully good spot for group stage 2!

Yea his ZvP defintely should some weakness today, two weeks ago if someone told me Welmu and viPro would take HyuN to game 5 of both their series I would have called them an idiot... Not that I'm saying Welmu and viPro are bad but HyuN should not be dropping 2 games to them in a bo5.
Unfortunately I don't see alot of Terrans advancing to be honest.. Happy advanced, Taeja should advance Maybe Bunny and Dayshi can too but I don't see HyuN getting to play a lot of ZvT which is a shame because I love watching him play ZvT.

Well HyuN started off Reeaally well 3-0'ing Bischu then got up to a 2-0 lead on TaeJa but lost the next 3 games in a row D:. Thankfully he pretty well dominated TLO only losing one game to a silly misplaced evo chamber wall.
Advances to the Ro8 one more time in an Euro tournament. He had a 2-0 lead against TaeJa initially, but his play slipped later on so I think he has to work on maintaining his lead, but defeating TLO for HSC is a nice start. His play today was a vast improvement over day 1, so he has a good chance of attaining the Ro4.

I hope he can draw another zerg for his ro8 match up(probably the only time I've hoped to have a ZvZ to watch lol). Though the fact that he could get 2-0 up on TaeJa I think shows he does have some good ZvT he just needs to finish better. 3-0'ing Bischu also helps me relax a bit with his ZvP after the shaky day 1. Aslong as he doesn't draw Stardust or Alicia for his ro8 opponent I think it should be clear sailing for him, and even facing them he is still favoured imo just not as clearly.
HyuN gets Happy for his ro8 opponent who he should be the clear favourite over! Not saying it's a free win by any means but by all rights he should beat Happy with a descisive victory!
Edit: Awhh fuckk they changed it... It's HyuN against Stardust in ro8 now T.T Much MUCH harder opponent especially considering HyuN's shaky play against Protoss...I still have complete trust that he will win, just a little bit nervous now though..
A bit mixed on StarDust because his style has been figured out recently, and his Gateway/Immortal all-in isn't as much of a free win as it used to be. Though I fear for HyuN because of his recent ZvP performance, if he is well rested and learns from his mistakes he should prevail, albeit in close fashion. As long as he doesn't blow his lead or fall victim to his own mentality, he should be fine.

Yep I hope Quantic protect their investment and give Hyun some time to rest up and not have to fly around to every tournament.
I guess the problem is that he is the face of quantic when it comes to SC2 so if they want their name to be out there then Hyun needs to play.
Still my favourite player I hope Asus releases some replays for me to study...maybe not the San games.

Yeh have to agree his macro is unbelievable at times and it lets him play zerg styles that others just can't.
His main problem at GSL was nerves I think, he just seemed to be a bit rattled playing on stage. However this seems to have abated a little bit. I think he just needs a break to recharge the batteries and he will be in tip-top form again.
To be honest he won dreamhack and got top 4 at Asus which is pretty fucking good. The random ZvP loses were I think due to tiredness.

The only thing holding HyuN back from truly being recognized as a great macro player with amazing mechanics is his nerves. Like in that last series against san when he completely forgot to build over lords for a stupidly long time. People see that and just assume his mechanics aren't up to par, which as some one who watches him all the time knows that's bull shit.
When he is playing relaxed and confident his mechanics are easily some of the best in the world if not the best for zerg imo.

The bold part is the reason for the "maybe not"... and that happened often lately where he got supply blocked for a few mins multiple times. And to be honest, I don't think hyun has even a lil bit nerves problem. I would put him in the ranks of mvp when it comes to that. But phoenix has a point: he indeed has the tendency to sacrifice either his mechanics or his intelligence for the other.

WCS Challenger league groups came out, and HyuN's opponents are Arthur and State. Isn't a very intimidating group as far as opponents go, and he should be well-prepared and outclass his opponents based off of results and practice after his tournament spree.

Kind of an interesting development for HyuN with all the news of team restructuring. SouL is joining GSTL and partnered with Quantic and are sending HwangSin to play with them. HyuN is a natural choice to join the partnership, so we may see HyuN play in GSTL.
HyuN gets a tough group for WCS Premier league With Polt Revival and Sage.
He can definitely beat all of them and come out on top of the group, but not one of them is exactly a free win either. I expect HyuN to advance with Polt with a coin toss to decide who gets first and who gets second of the group!
Wow that group A eh? I'm feeling uncertain as to HyuN's likelihood to advance in the group with his rather poor showings online and offline as of late, and I'm not feeling as confident as I would like to be. Polt is a bit of a mix-up because he has university to juggle with, Revival is a coin-toss because he is either brilliant or falls flat on his face, and Sage has defeated HyuN quite handily in the past. If HyuN can really work with his vulnerable ZvP and maintain his fairly solid ZvT and ZvZ, he should progress at least.
I was worried about HyuN's chances against sOs because his ZvP has been suffering so much lately, but that series just proved me wrong. HyuN was Hyunstoppable and seemed hardly challenged. This should translate well to the rest of his group and the Ro16 if he makes it.

I was gonna post here that I was a bit worried for HyuN going into this group.. but wow he utterly dominated sOs.. Granted sOs didn't play as well as I've seen him play before but still for HyuN's weakest match up that looked incredible! With a strong run here and in WCS this season he should be able to get his way into the blizzcon finals :D
HyuN moves through his group 6-0 against some high-class opponents, including his ZvZ rival Snute. Haven't seen HyuN play this well in a while, so I'm confident the championship bracket should go well for him.
Liking his Ro16 opponent ForGG. Last time they encountered was HyuN losing because of a 6 Pool, but I doubt HyuN is going to screw around that much tomorrow. ForGG's TvZ has historically been weak, so I can see HyuN making it to the Ro8.
It sucks that ForGG knocked him out. Hopefully, he'll go far in WCS premier.
Edeit: ForGG was a totally beatable player especially since HyuN's ZvT used to be near unstoppable. His roach esque builds (which I like) didn't seem to work vs forgg. His ZvP woes I think are over due to his domination of his stage 3 group.
Finally some success in a WCS event. Defeats Sage 2-1 and because of a walkover courtesy of Polt, he advances into the Ro16 and the live phase of WCS NA. Other than a sloppy game one, HyuN just seemed to outplay Sage, which is a good sign seeing his poor record against Sage in the past and some ZvP struggles recently.

HyuN got invited to IEM New York's group stage #1, so if he takes the top two space, he qualifies for the real tournament. The first group stage isn't too competitive beyond DRG, San and Life, but HyuN at his best can defeat any of them.

I would be very surprised if HyuN failed to advance out of this group in the top two at least, because the only two players who are likely to eliminate HyuN are Hack and San, and one of them will knock each other out. If HyuN is playing better, he can defeat the Koreans and defeat the foreigners.

Seems like a fairly straight forward group for HyuN. as long as he brings his A game he can easily beat any of those players. It's a bonus that Hack and San face each other, both are potential threats but in all rights HyuN should beat either of them!
HyuN draws a damn tough group for ro16 Premier league! He has HerO, Crank and Hack to deal with, with his first match being against Crank. I expect him to still be able to come out of this group but would have been nice to have an easier group for him! Lets go HyuN! You better fucking make it to Toronto!!!!!!
Definitely a competitive group, HerO, CranK and Hack aren't push-overs at all. HerO I can see giving HyuN some trouble, but CranK shouldn't be as large of a threat as HerO is. Hack is the mystery variable because he hasn't been showing too many games recently, but HyuN's ZvT isn't as great as I expected it to be. I still believe HyuN can advance here though if he just focuses on his ZvP extensively. And just like Necro, I want to see HyuN in Toronto!
HyuN saved Quantic in ATC (again), and almost finished it with an all-kill, but the Jim stopped the fun train. Luckily, HyuN took the revenge kill and seems to be having some momentum to IEM New York.
Polt can't go to IEM New York which sucks for him... but it's good news for HyuN! He gets bumped up into Polt's group stage spot now! With TLO and Zest +Whoever comes out of the bracket stages.

Definitely favoring HyuN here because 2/3 of his opponents are Zergs, and HyuN has been dominating the match-up lately and barely losing to anyone. With Life's recent ZvZ struggles and HyuN having the head-up on TLO, he should advance on his ZvZ alone. Zest is a mystery because we lack any solid info on him, but he seems a decent enough PvZ'er, but I still believe HyuN can win based off his recent record. Should be a group HyuN advances from, and motivate him enough to earn more WCS points.

HyuN gets through Crank in the first match of the day with a 2-1 score. Got caught by a strong all in from Crank in game 2 and almost got caught in game 3 but held with some great Macro, decision making and nice micro!
Poor HyuN he's worked so hard after he dominate game 1 I thought it was possible for him to win 2-0 but he ultimately suffered losing 1-2. He was my last hope for blizzcon. I feel so depressed now.
HyuN qualified for the final qualifiers in the global qualifiers for Red Bull Battlegrounds (whew, sure was a lot of qualifiers used there). He may not have made it to Blizzcon, but if he reaches the actual tournament and does well, I'll be just as glad.

I can definitely see HyuN defeating Symbol with his amazing ZvZ lately, and Sora is consistent in his ZvP, but HyuN can take him on in a Bo5 or Bo7. Real threat is INoVation because I don't see him losing in a TvZ anytime soon, even against HyuN. Ideal bracket would be HyuN facing off against Symbol in the Ro4, then facing Sora in the finals if he can defeat INoVation.

INoVation is definitely scary but he doesn't have that god like aura around him anymore(At least I don't think he does) I think HyuN can take him out if need be, though I agree I would much rather him face Symbol and Sora...
HyuN got a nice little invite to the Dailymotion Cup, but this tournament is stacked and it's only six players announced so far. Polt, INoVation, Jaedong, San and ForGG are incredibly good and I suspect the player pool is only going to improve.

An update on HyuN's groups for Dailymotion Cup and HomeStory Cup VIII. His Dailymotion Cup group consists of Jaedong, Zanster and San, while his HSC group is Happy, HuK and Harstem. Both are groups HyuN can advance from without too much problem I believe with HyuN's strong ZvZ for Dailymotion Cup, and the three foreigners shouldn't pose much of a problem.

I forsee HyuN doing very well in HSC, As I posted in that thread not too impressed by the majority of the line up to be honest, as long as he doesn't hit TaeJa, HerO or MC early he should be fine and even then he can definitely beat them! I smell a HyuN victory incoming :D
Groups for Red Bull Battlegrounds got announced recently, and HyuN's group consists of MC, sOs and Snute. Both MC and sOs are going to likely follow the momentum from their WCS showings, so MC should not be as scary as he could be and sOs is probably going to top this group, and I believe Snute will unfortunately take last place in the group. HyuN should advance into the Ro4 at least because MC is defeatable in his current form and Snute's ZvZ probably won't hold against HyuN's ZvZ showings lately. sOs is fresh off of winning the title of best player in 2013, and HyuN is going to be challenged against him, but HyuN isn't exactly a Jaedong either. Either way, hope we get good games and of course HyuN advancing.

I don't think anyone can touch that crown till Jaedong wins something.
DreamHack Winter groups just released, and HyuN's group consists of NaNiwa, LucifroN, TLO and Patience. This should be a doable group for HyuN even with all the traveling, though of course, he needs to take caution and be serious. NaNiwa has and will win against HyuN with any means possible, and he has always proven to be a deadly assassin to HyuN's greedy builds. LucifroN hasn't been showing too much recently in LANs, but one again, a very intelligent player who has taken on HyuN pretty well, though I think HyuN should win against Luci. TLO and Patience are the players I can see HyuN winning most likely, but he should always be a bit safe against TLO because he knows HyuN's styles and HyuN's ZvP still feels vulnerable. All in all, a group HyuN should advance from if he is prepared well enough and if he comes off a good weekend from Red Bull Battlegrounds.
Decent effort at Red Bull, but against Protosses HyuN just fell flat when he had some winnable positions. HyuN has some problems with dealing against Void Rays because he just doesn't tech out of Hydras and it almost never goes in his favor. As much as he can complain about ZvP being in Protoss's favor, he does have some serious flaws in his play he should repair.
Stay strong HyuN, even though it must be incredibly demoralizing being scammed by that fraudster Simon, I hope you can hold out for at least one more year. What a shitty way to start off your last year of gaming. I'd even go far as to suggest HyuN's declining results from the summer could be explained from the stress of not receiving his money cause how could one practice and be moralized when they have the dark cloud over their head about being penniless.

Expected results like this from his ZvP which hasn't been stellar recently, and I'm kinda worried from the groups cause they have strong Protosses and Terrans, and only Jaedong is the Zerg he can face. If he gets a good group he can move on, but he has to also be in full focus.

Rain, Hero and ForGG is going to be a very tough group for HyuN.
His ZvP hasn't been the best as of late but he can beat ForGG, Rain and Hero are both strong but if HyuN plays up to his full potential he should still be able to advance.

Even though he lost I think HyuN has really proved himself recently coming out of the Quantic debacle. I didn't expect HyuN to give herO a run for his money in a match-up he calls his weakest lately, even though he tends to blow leads. I'm glad HyuN is improving and isn't letting go despite the drama, and he should look forward to playing in WCS with his current form and dominating. Maybe even MLG would be nice in the future.

Sounds like good news to me, HyuN has always been a heavy presence in European tournaments and now that he can reside there traveling and online tournaments should be much easier to access while he can play in the European ladder.

Couldn't have said it better myself! I think HyuN has already gotten past the biggest hurdle to winning the championship in beating TaeJa. His ZvP is pretty damn good right now, not saying by any means Alicia will be a walk over, but all the opponents and match ups left are a lot less scary then him playing TaeJa in a ZvT! As long as his nerves hold up IMO he is the favourite from here.
Good track so far by going first in the two groups and defeating Welmu and RorO. A bit worried cause HyuN is facing Snute, a player whom he has historically struggled against, but HyuN is carrying a lot of momentum lately and Snute looked weak in the Copenhagen Games.
HyuN takes first place in the WCS AM group of death fairly easily bar a strange build against Heart in game 1. Also went and got third place in the Dragon Invitational losing to INoVation 0-2 in the Ro4 but at least smashing Seed 3-0 in the 3rd place match. HyuN is confirmed attending DreamHack Summer as well so we got more HyuN action in the future.
Confirmed going to MLG Anaheim. HyuN better take that championship for last time's close encounter. HyuN's got a busy June in front of him with DreamHack this weekend, WCS and MLG so plenty of HyuN to go around.

Better luck next tournament. Losing to MC isn't the worst way to exit but I did feel HyuN played into MC's hands rather than pressuring him into his type of game. Next up is MLG with a pretty stacked open bracket but if HyuN can play like he did bar the MC loss he can go deep.

That series was heartbreaking to watch. I love both MC and HyuN, but I really wanted HyuN to win that one and I know he has the skill set to beat MC. Oh well still have MLG and WCS to crush some nerds at ^.^

Luckily if he wins his first match in the bracket he goes up against HuK who he should really just manhandle. Nothing against HuK but I see HyuN being in a completely different league skill wise. After that gets tricky with most likely Trap. Doesn't look like he will have to face another Zerg until much later in the tournament and hopefully he can fix up his ZvZ by then. It's tough competetion but I trust in the Hyunjwa!
Not the best or the worst weekend HyuN's had reaching the Ro8 of a strong tournament but you do feel a bit disappointed he wasn't playing to the level we expected. Losing to Trap 2-1 twice and to RagnaroK and Scarlett 0-2 doesn't feel as bad though knowing he sweeped Polt 6-0 and the two Zergs got far so I'd attribute it more to the players playing very well and HyuN not really feeling it. WCS should go well for him though, he beat Alicia and showed he can challenge the best in ZvP at least, and his ZvZ should be enough to contest Revival and NesTea.

Played a nice little game against Alicia at first but then he went for a weird build in game 2 and game 3 was just him losing to Gateway pressure. Luckily it's only going to be 3 toss at most in the next round, and he does have the ability to take out any of them. I hope he finds his confidence in ZvP again soon but maybe train it in the off season because for now the biggest threats I can see are Polt, Bomber and Taeja. Now they all still have to qualify for the next round but it's safe to say Taeja will and at least one of Polt and Bomber should advance from their group as well.

Looks like TaeJa did avoid playing HyuN.. Though probably not in the way TaeJa wanted to avoid him. Pretty big upset with Pigbaby beating him. Sets up unfortunately a ZvP for HyuN. His ZvP has been shaky as of late but I'm sure he will come out with some good strats and with his overall skill he should be able to get past Pigbaby and into the finals.
HyuN just one series away from qualifying for IEM Toronto but sadly not in the cards today. If he can try to qualify though the open bracket that would be awesome though, I might finally be able to meet my Zerg idol.

I really hope Hyun does make it. If he makes it I will haveto force myself to go if it's not already sold out. I haven't missed a premier Toronto event yet. Goes a clean 4-0 against TLO and Zanster in consecutive ZvZ performances. HyuN showed his ZvZ is still top notch even when cheesed at a build order loss. Faces DeMusliM next which is interesting because DeMusliM showed he isn't lying over and dying against Koreans by defeating StarDust. Might be a bit close but HyuN should win.
Played as well as he could but his Ling/Bane/Muta looks rusty taking engagements off creep and his openers countered by Bunny. Not a bad result but I think HyuN should have taken it more convincingly.
Nice news for HyuN cause he was invited to IEM Toronto so no need to fight his way through the open bracket anyways. That just might be enough for me to attend.
Loses in the finals of the Taiwan Open to Sen 3-4. He had some good plays but HyuN made some bad engagements and never seemed to take control or get into Sen's head. That's the second finals he lost to a foreigner which might be discouraging. Reaching the finals twice is no joke but I do wish HyuN did better in Bo7 finals.
Gets his revenge on Pigbaby and defeats TaeJa in a hard-fought series to reach the Ro8! Will be facing HuK in the next round which shouldn't be too much of a problem provided he doesn't fall to his bag of tricks and Gateway all-ins.

He said in his interview he's not going to take this match lightly, I hope he wasn't just saying that and actually means it. HuK isn't quite on par with HyuN's skill level but if not prepared he can absolutely catch HyuN off guard with some wonky timings and all ins. I hope HyuN does his research on HuK and scouts often, if he does that it should be clean and easy.
Ends up finishing Ro4 in WCS AM again which is a formidable result but Heart's style countered HyuN's very well. HyuN has to bring his A-Game in BlizzCon against the best of the best, his first opponent being INoVation. HyuN says he will practice hard in Korea for two weeks in preparation so he knows this is an important tournament.

Late on this but HyuN is quite a ZvZ maestro in Korea beating Dark 3-0 echoing his LosirA victory last season. All that practice in the CJ and Axiom teamhouses are paying off.

If HyuN comes back he's probably more likely to playing BW than SC2. He already made the switch back and was streaming BW on Afreeca a few months before the start of his military service.
