Thank you, too HeathenHill and all those in chat who extended a birthday greeting. And ofc Codon, who sent a birthday greeting in PM. Y'all are awesome.  Avilo and I will be spending most of the day together...probably watching movies, cuz that's what we do. He never fails to make me feel special on my bday. But we'll probably be doing some GW too so he can piss me off. hahaSorry he had to stay up so late, but it was a great way to start my day when I saw that he played until he made GM again. Think it took a whole one game. GJ, my avilo. | ||

Has he gotten frustrated when he loses to maphackers and cheaters and allins game after frickin game? Hell ya...who the heck doesn't? Has he been BM and raged because of it? Another big yes, but he's not the only one who's ever done that either! Is he one of the first to recognize imbalance. NO! But he is the first to voice his opinion and for that he's ostracized, which to me seems pretty unfair. He doesn't just say Terran is Underpowered, he tells Blizzard the aspects of Terran that are OP, as well. Codon says he's "toned down the whining." Well I disagree with Codon, because I don't think it was whining. What avilo HAS done is adopted a better attitude and has become more objective with his own game play. So, please, haters, once and for all STOP! And a P.S. to Matt - Codon is not avilo, but one of avilo's many fans who recognize avilo's awesome talent and enjoy his entertaining and informative stream. | ||

The team liquid community uses the term "balance whining" to refer to any discussion of game balance whatsoever. When I said he's toned down the whining, I wasn't implying that he was actually whining, I was just using Liquidspeak. The important thing, though, is that Avilo now critiques his OWN play after a loss before commenting on balance, which has resulted in him moving from around rank 100 GM all the way up to rank 17 GM. | ||

*Whinger is an Australian term for someone who complains about something alot. I will say as one of Avilo's loyal fans over the past 2 years that he does "whinge". Do i care..no, sometimes its amusing and if you don't like it DON'T WATCH THE STREAM BRO! One of my favorite memories of watching Avilo is him complaining about something....i forget what...but he was on the verge of exploding. He started a new game and was talking about how bad is luck is (which sometimes it really is), he went to swap Factory -> reactor from rax and just as he was half way through about 10-15 lings ran through the gap, denying the factory from dropping and taking out his Scv's. He looked down, shook his head, threw the headphones off his head and just walked away without saying a word. He didn't come back for like 4-5 minutes. I was in hysterics, dude is a legend. | ||

He has been working on improving his attitude lately, but that's more for his own benefit. And benefit him it has. Not only has he been visibly happier on-stream, but his ranking has improved phenominally. He used to be around rank 120, but now he's at about rank 50, and was even at rank 17 a couple days ago. He's also vastly improved his ability to hold off all-ins, which were the main way he was losing. But yeah, don't worry, he'll always be strong and outspoken, which is a good thing. We need more people like that in the world | ||

If you've been watching him for a couple years Heathenhill you know he's not gonna change. He calls it like he sees it and isn't afraid to speak his mind no matter what. To hell with the haters. Tonight's last game was epic. Just made me smile from ear to ear. Gotta love them nukes. | ||

I thought he was going to be picked apart by the constant hit-and-run blink stalker attacks, but nope! He stayed calm and cool and managed to break through eventually. | ||
