Edit: Oh, and what do you make of Life - Violet? Life beat Violet not long ago, and after beating Sniper (unless the latter looked terrible), Violet should not prove too much of an issue even in his self-proclaimed worst match-up. Thoughts? | ||

Thoughts? i f i learned one thing about violet it's to not underestimate his zvz, i really dont like violet's scrappy play but his zvz is by far his best matchup imo but life seems to be back in top shape, his play looks so clean again, hopefully he can top his group today | ||

That loss to Violet was really strange. 1st game, he's way ahead, but somehow keeps falling behind after every engagement, even though he's ahead on bases and workers. At some point they showed he had wasted 10K more resources than Violet. How is that even possible with similar compositions? I really wanna watch that game again to see what he did that badly. He should have done a better job of pulling Violet out of his defensive position with runbys I suppose. Second game he got ahead again with the hatch cancel, but then decided to build a bunch of lings and attack into someone who was turtling hard with 2 spines and queens. He should have just played greedy instead. He has to learn when to tone down the aggression and be patient against turtlers sometimes. | ||

Anyway, I'm happy that he made it and I hope he beats DRG handily for a rematch with Leenock. | ||
