amazing recap, but it's in TSL forum after TSL is over, and not in the featured, so absolutely no one saw it...

Alright I'll join the Creator fan club. He's definitely earned his place as a champion and who doesn't love a new champion.

creator officially the #1 ranked player in the world, with his recent TSL4 win and MKP/DRG not doing so well lately :p
+ Show Spoiler +(this is a glicko rating system, which apparently is better than ELO. it's kinda like international + korean TLPD and managed by the german sc2 scene, so it's pretty up-to-date)

Haha, be cautious with thos rankings ^^. I think everyone will take him very seriously now. He has the skill to beat anyone in the world on a regular basis. But he is still young. There will be downs again, but he is a very intelligent kid. He learns from his mistakes very well and takes something from every defeat (a feat that I'd love to see in Marineking :o ). I think he has the skill to win every tournament he enters. But he has to keep it going. Keep practicing, keep improving his weaknesses, keep working out new builds for him. (He has only a small arsenal of protoss allin builds, he can massivly improve here to be more unpredictable!) If he does that, and I'm very sure he will, than he will be a dominating force... at least until HotS is out! :o

Putting Yonghwa at #15 automatically makes the list invalid.

YongHwa is actually really really good. Except his failure in Code A prelim is now legendary, and he doesn't get to do foreign tournaments so he is not noticed (very similar to Creator in this regard and Seed before last season).

haha, Artosis got ya! :-) Nono, Yonghwa is not bad at all, but at times, he gets a little to much credit for what he does...
back to topic: I hope Creator can qualify for the next MLG, he just deserves way more exposure and fame than he gets right now, even after his 2 huge wins!
|
I actually never saw the supposed Artosis hype on YongHwa, just his result this year (he is in WCG Korea Ro4), and one of the best IM in team leagues.
Well, if Creator makes through Code A then he would get plenty exposure. Hope he doesn't have to go through UnD next time...

it's a bit easier to qualify for MLG now that there's no arena (one less step) creator'll need to get through online open quals and then invite only quals after! glgl <3

You have qualified for WCS. How do you feel?
I had no clue about this tournament until just a few days ago.
Do you think you can represent Korea?
Probably not (laugh). I won't know until later but I'm not too confident. There are KeSPA players as well as high ranking GSL players in the playoffs so it' going to be too difficult.
Oh, you.

Code A brackets were released and, yeah Creator, as allways, has his bracket of death. He is up with Alive, MC and Byun. Even Noblesse in the first round is by far no pushover. The kid just doesn't have any luck with that
