check it out here: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/7526977 Where are you from and how did you get into StarCraft II? I was born in Seoul, the capital city of Korea. I originally wanted to be a pro gamer for StarCraft: Broodwar but I didn’t make it. Later when StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty came out, I gave it a go and found it very satisfying. Since it was so fun, I ended up playing it quite a bit, and as you know, I became quite proficient at it, and that was what led me to my victory at WCS. How was your experience at your National Tournament? Unlike various other domestic tournaments here in Korea, the WCS Korean Nationals moved forward with a noticeably brisk pace in a relatively short bracket of time. I think that’s what helped me feel more at ease on stage with the cameras and the broadcasting. Since I was more at ease on stage and in front of the camera, I was less tense, and I was able to focus more on bringing the fire to the fight in the game, leading to favorable results on my end. How do you think you’ll finish in the Asia Finals? The Asia Finals are important, yes, but I’ve already secured a position in the BWC, and will try to bring my game to the table with a degree of composure. The BWC is where all the world’s greats will be, so that’s something I would definitely want to come on top of. Is there anything you’d like to say to people in your home country cheering you on? There are so many talented players here in Korea, and it’s such a great honor to take home the trophy. I plan on making a strong statement through the Asia Finals and the BWC. Luck has no place in my victory. also, creator lost 2-1 to bomber in MLG. shame, but top8 in the stacked qualifier is a good result still!

i think a top6 from creator wouldn't be an unreasonable expectation, hard to see much further than that though creator should be favoured against infi and sen; he'll probably meet curious for LR5 and that's probably slightly creator favoured considering that curious has looked rather mediocre lately. after that is the loser of HerO/PartinG, which is where PvP coin messes things up haha. if creator's run stops there, a top6 is a bit of an underperformance, but let's see how day 2 pans out! anything after that will most likely be more PvP, unless RorO can win the top loser's bracket.

![]() Translated from http://s.163.com/12/1017/16/8E1GUVGG00314D0E.html Hello Creator. First, let's start off by introducing yourself. Hello everyone. I am Creator from team Prime, a Protoss player. ![]() What did you think of the organisation of the WCS Asia Finals? It was not bad overall. Really satisfied with the lodging, food, and tournament. Give an assessment of your performance in this tournament. My performance wasn't ideal, and the groupings were not very good. I had to play against a Korean player near the start of the tournament and was knocked to the losers' bracket. I tried to play my way back up slowly, but it was much more difficult. Do you run into any Chinese players when you practise on battlenet? What do you think of their strength? We usually practise a lot, and the chances of us running into a Chinese player practising is almost like only 1%. I have some impression of players like Jim, and China does have many players with a lot of potential, but based on current strength, it'll still take some time before they can defeat Korean players. ![]() Is Starcraft 2 popular in Korea? It's decently popular. At the moment, GSL is slightly better than OSL, and as long as there are popular players playing there'll be many people showing up, especially if it's at the elimination phases of the tournament. Otherwise, it's just pretty typical. Talking about OSL, the Kespa players have all switched to Starcraft 2. Do you feel any stress? Their switch increased the number of player teams in Starcraft 2, and I think that is a good thing, but these strong players are indeed improving really fast, but I think that GSL players still have the advantage in the near future. ![]() Any thoughts of taking part in more foreign tournaments, similar to what MarineKing does? It's really tiring to take part in foreign tournaments. MarineKing has been slightly affected by it, and it leads to not being to practise properly. And so for the time being, I'll still be mainly focusing on the Korean tournaments. MarineKing will also be spending more time in the future staying in Korea and practising. Was there any food problems this time, coming to Shanghai to compete? Many players bring their own instant noodles when they come to China. It's ok. The overall environment in Shanghai is quite similar to that in Korea, but in terms of the food I really can't get used to it. But for this WCS Asia Finals, Blizzard had special preparations, and we were able to eat the same food which we eat in Korea. ![]() We notice that the Tt eSports keyboard you use is very different. Why did you choose this model? Many people are using mechanical keyboards. Our sponsor Tt eSports provided us with some keyboards, and I thought that this keyboard model felt pretty nice, and so I chose to use it. Finally, say something to the Chinese fans. Thank you everyone for supporting us. I will repay you all with good performances. I also want to thank my team, Prime, and our sponsor Tt eSports.
