I just couldn't take it anymore. It's not the balance, it's just that the race is slow and dull and no matchup is satisfying at all regardless of outcome. ![]() In the last 2 days of playing Zerg I at least re-discovered the joy and of being able to actually move around the map freely. Simple pleasures.

Simple pleasures. At least MC got out of group stages, so I can cheer him on. Now we just have to cheer on the few others. I'm hoping for Killer to do well, he's been playing really well on his stream.

I see Killer as a better version of HongUn: Definitely not bad, but seems to do well more through his opponent's mistakes than his own excellent play. While consistent, he never inspires like MC, Hero, JYP, Sage or Oz do.

+ Show Spoiler + Gotta say I liked watching Parting play. I wouldn't presume to judge the quality of play, but players with a focus on High Templar (or occasionally just constant small group based Warp-in harass like Sage did in his first remarkable game) are the only ways to make Protoss play look good to me. And even though I still wish Khaydarin Amulet were restored, I was a happy Templar today.

Sure, he could be a solid Code A player, but he didn't look particularly excellent at anything. He was pretty good at some stuff, pretty poor at some other stuff. Definitely not Code S material in my eyes. Sorry, didn't want to derail the thread. Anyway, the patch hopefully hits for all the Protoss hopes in GSL.

![]() I actually think that considering the quantity and quality of Terrans, Toss and Zergs at Code S level, thats about as even and fair a distribution as it gets.
