since QxG and EG have an announcement coming at blizzcon i think it gonna be a partnership for the Korean house.

And how would that benefit EG

If both teams will pay half the price it will mean they have less costs. Also more training partners.

Sign me up. EG has been around for forever, supporting North American esports in the bad old days, when no-one else would, being responsible with their commitments when no-one else was.

In the days of DOTA1, when noone else even considered North America a source of internationally competitive DOTA players, EG took a risk and made a team comprised of a majority of NA players. It turned out to be one of the most successful teams in (international scene) DOTA history. Unlike so many other DOTA sponsors, to the best of my knowledge, they fulfilled their promises to the players. Their competitors at the time would endlessly make promises to the DOTA pros, then fail to pay, even after the players made hotel and flight reservations.

They didn't fall into the salary bubble trap that so many teams did in WC3, then supported Grubby when MYM collapsed in flames.

Now they have come into their own, showing a strong commitment to their players, offering fair and comfortable salaries to their top players, and not abandoning the ones, like Incontrol, Axslav and Machine, who are struggling. They are truly a model of excellence in the esports world.

Does quantum gaming have any actual good players? It seems silly to partner with a subpar team, if they're going to partner they should pick a Korean team.

The only notable player is SaSe. I would say that both Inka and destiny have a lot of potential though, but obviously they havent achieved anything sc2 related just yet. I doubt its a partnership with QxG because it would be essentially just for SaSe.

Who was on their Dota team?

The team went through a lot of changes but the original roster was Whisper, Hitomi, Remstar, King, DogKaiser, Lopi and Orga. Later it completely changed. Fear eventually was on the team and with DeMoN, Merlini, Merc, Swiss and Azen were part of the roster when the team disbanded.

*Looks at signature*

Well, looks like I signed myself up regardless.

I have to say I haven't liked a team this much since 4k in WC3 (seriously, EG and 4k are/were stacked).

I miss the days of 4k.Grubby and 4k.Fury--but now there's a baller team to get behind in EG. GL in MLG providence guys!

Milkis is doing an answer and question with Puma, MKP and Rain. Huk and IdrA are also discussed by the 3 players.

QxG.Inka was kicked off EG once, there is no gain for EG there. Destiny has a baby that is just a couple months old, I really doubt he would take off for Korea and leave the kid behind. I don't see any gain for EG here.

Lmfao @ IPL panel talk. Consisting of: Stephano, Select, MC, and iNcontroL.

Audience: "What do you guys like to do when you're just playing SC2 for fun?"
Stephano: "I play Terran, get Marines, Stim Packs, Shields, ya know.."
Select: "I play Protoss and (iNcontroL: "WHAAAAT??") cheese. Yeah, you know! 4gate is fun.
MC: "Winning IdrA."
iNcontroL: "You know you're an icon when people ask people questions and they just reference your name. Actually, I had a lot of fun last time PuMa was at the teamhouse. I asked him to do 2v2s with me, and he's super quiet usually. We did fun stuff, like mass Nukes and Banelings, and the entire time PuMa is just dropping the F-bomb and talking about how sexy he is the whole game."

I highly doubt that the announcement would be something exclusively SC2 related due to the 25 stars on the map/25 players on EG thing.. But then again last time the riddles didn't make much sense whatsoever after the actual announcement was made, so who knows.

It would be rather nice of EG if they allow Sase to live with their players in Korea but it would obviously benefit Sase a lot more than it would benefit EG. It doesn't sound possible if you think about EG and Quantic as competitors because it's not like a foreign-Korean team partnership (Liquid+OGS, Complexity+MVP, etc.). But then again Huk is still living in the OGS/Liquid house, which is incredibly nice of Liquid even though it doesn't make a lot of sense from a strictly business perspective.
