It was already worth it just for DRG's laugh :D

Polt vs Jjakji tonight. Bit worried as Jjakji likes his TvT one-base builds, could catch Polt off-guard. But if he knows, then easy peasy.

Pretty disappointing seeing Polt lose to the same 1/1/1 three times to Jjakji :/...... Well, hope he can beat Rain pretty convincingly in the Lower Bracket.

Jjakji uses that build on everyone. It's how he beat MKP and Byun in GSTL as well.

Yeah, that was weird. Either Polt was really stubborn and thought his fast expand would work with some adjustments or he didn't care. He was able to break one of the all-in/contains by sneaking out a medivac, but he really should have adapted better. In a longer TvT, I think Polt rolls Jjakji, but Jjakji played to exploit Polt's love now to macro up. It's pretty much the reason why Sheth/MC beat Polt at Columbus. They both knew he likes to play long games and abused him with counter pushes/early timings/harassment.
If Polt could just throw in some of the Old Polt that never went past two bases alongside his macro-style, he'll be set. He just can't be so predictable by wanting to macro hard.

If there is one (of many) aspects makes a good player, is in their ability to have a variety of builds and execution of them. I feel Polt is looking a little like Stephano in ZvT, becoming a standard, easily figured out player due to their unwavering consistency of play, and have their style countered.

Yeah, that gave me a good laugh. Haha.
Polt beat Rain 3-2 today in IPL ToC. Rain cheesed five straight games with one base all-ins and proxy rushes.

Great game against Idra on your stream. I don't know why Idra has to be so BM when he loses, Polt is such a nice guy.

Polt has quickly became one of my favorite streamers, probably the favorite tbh, in a short period of time. He's in my top 3 nicest progamers list.
