Just look at what's happening in Korea where Terran are better than their foreign counterparts by a huge margin. Zerg really seem to be in a decent spot, getting a lot of wins. You can't just take a loss from your favourite player and then simply state Terran is broken. Stephano is far from the level he was when he was crushing Kas every single time they met.

I hope he is ok :{<
And if he is, really nice birthday present for grubby, your a nice guy stephano^^.

This will be exciting! May 17th and 18:00 CEST for this group, oooh the excitement. There's no reason Stephano can't win it all. I think he should be fine in his group. All he needs to do is practice regularly, which, I hope, he will attempt to do for a change.
Unless he's really sick or broke his hand and is just playing with his mouse, I take back the above statement. He looks terrible.

Nerchio is 0-5 atm zergs looking good in Hots. I got no idea wtf is going on atm.

Bullshit widow mines and hellbats has taken any skills out of this game. And last time I saw Life he got absolutely destroyed in the ZvT matchup
The TvZ match is just plain broken

The top tier Koreans have no problems I can see at this point with Terran and the matchup looks generally balanced. Soulkey has even beaten the invincible Innovation. Stephano is just playing really poorly.

Fact is terran players can defend this shit so much but when Nerchio and dimaga go 0-5 vs players who they dominated since the beginning of wol where zergs was actually underpowered. Then there is something wrong.
Hellbats, widow mines gg

He was in the group of death, there was a great chance of him not making it. Meanwhile there are 4 Zergs in the quarters all of whom have ahd to beat multiple top Korean Terrans and Protosses.
Did you saw the matches? He got crushed looked like a bronze player vs a GM. Trust me Terran is going to dominate completly until widow mines and hellbats gets fixed.
Anyway I'm done with this.

I love when people write this at the end of the statements, like ''I am too much of a man to lower myself to your level, but I just got to say this before I walk away''
cracks me up everytime
On topic: At least stephano going to praticipate in gigabytecup if I am informed right

On balance: Hellbats are stupid, but I don't think we can blame today on balance. Mostly bad decisions (/no decisions) by Stephano after he put himself in favorable positions.
What the successful Korean zergs do is to "bust or die". I think Stephano will need to be more directly aggressive in his play in the current format of TvZ. If you play for the standard macro-game, terran will have a pretty big advantage.
On the EIZO-cup forfeit: I really don't like to see it, I think he should have more consideration for the organizers, but what can you do (and what do we know?)? The heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes it wants to get fucked up the day before a tournament. Borderline self-harming behavior from Stephano is part of his charm if you like him, and, I'm guessing, the opposite if you don't.
