+ Show Spoiler + How do you feel after bring the victory to your team? I'm really happy to get this victory for the team with my two achievements.More important: i could finally stop my loosing streak in zvz.win a zvz , this why i feel that good! Is it the result of an intensive training in front of this loosing streak in zvz? I trained a lot , and with my teammates too. Against Samsung KHAN you lost to Sola... Loosing to Sola wasn't that much of a big deal for me.In zvt and zvp i'm confident even against world top players , buti know very well that zvz is a problem for me. So what is the problem with your zvz? Even now i don't like playing Zvz .Since i dont like them, i dont train very much this match up, that is why i am frequently supply block and fail my timings . With today's victory it seems that you arr starting to show new things about you .Avec ta victoire aujourd'hui, il semble que tu commences à montrer une nouvelle facette de toi. Well i'm glad to have defeated Zero who beatedJaedong.i showed the fact that i can win when i train. Are you disappointed to miss IEM Katowice? I was happy to qualify but disappointed to not be able playing the main event. Then i realised that about 15 players were Zergs.i hate zvz so thats not that bad. Did you train alot on new proleague's maps? I played the whole map pool. I think Neo planet s and neo arkanoid are good maps.ep caldeum and neo bifrost have a lot of differents paths, ot is very important to know all thoses paths when i engage a fight, that is why i'm not totally ready for them yet.So concerning Neo planet s and neo arkanoid, i'm ready! Send me on the battlefield! What kind of role do you want to play in proleague? I just want to win (laughs).More like being the incarnation of my team. GSL Code S is waiting for you... My group is good to me.There is two Terrans and i feel confident in zvt but i'm also a little bit worried because they are going to habe two weeks to prepare themselves, this is not lile internationals tournaments were you have to improvise .I think i have high chances to win the GSL Code S, but being realistic i'm aiming the semi finals. Something else to say? Thank you to my team , really ,to let me participate to the Proloeague. Thanks to the manager and the staff , to my teammates aswell who help me at trainings.thanks to all our sponsors Raid call, Monster,Kingston Hyper x,and Intel Extreme. Source and a funny picture of stephano here http://esports.dailygame.co.kr/news/read.php?id=72270 I'll make corrections later it is quite hard to translate a korean itw with an i phone

Good god. Listen to the last engagement in the 2nd video... All 3 of the Korean casters are all scream casting over one another at the exact same time. Literally 45 seconds of 3 people shouting playbyplay at the exact same time. Lol.

People have said that since he won IPL 3. If they come up with something to counter him he just change his style. Stephano is a sc2 prodigy he will only get better now with a coach and team house. Going to be great fun being a Stephano fan in the future Im sure of it!!

Yeah, Stephano is pretty much the most studied zerg out there and yet he still wins.

Any proleague player who is not familiar with the most recognizable and widely known and studied zvp playstyle (i.e., Stephano's style) in all of Sc2 build should probably just retire. Of course they know his style already. Stephano isn't unbeatable but he's not getting wins because he's an unknown commodity, as your post suggests.

It's too volatile... too dependent on chance, than actual skill. I don't agree that zvz is too dependent on chance. The top zergs in the world have very good win rates in zvz, all over 60% recently, and some over 70%, which suggests it's not random. If it were a true coinflip you would see win rates closer to 50%. ZvZ openings are well known as are the transitions. Most zvzs in tournaments are macro games, where each player is able to tech up to infestors. The game then becomes about larvae, economy and army management. The player who does all of those things better wins. There's lots of skill involved, which is why I'm confident Stephano will start playing better again now that he's practicing regularly (in Korea no less). Stephano's zvz when he was playing regularly on ladder before he broke out was very good - top 10 probably. He stopped practicing regularly and it's gotten worse and worse. Jaedong may be top 5 in zvz and is at least top 10 and Revival is probably top 20, so he definitely has the practice partners necessary to figure the match up out.
